Ironside Fish & Oyster

The lobster rolls in this restaurant are delicious, and they also have special offers on oysters, which is very cost-effective. I bought a dozen. Although the oysters are small, they are very fresh and can be eaten directly with lemon juice.

No fried oysters. Staff was sweet but forgot veggies. Atmosphere was loud yet had cozy feeling. Would probably not return bc though food was tasty we needed more options

This place looks really cool, it feels like being on a boat. We just walked in! The menu already sounded delightful and the food met expectations. Very interesting and sophisticated recipes, very well prepared. Nice wine selection. Everything was just right.

My wife and I ate here and we both thought it was one of the best fish meals we have ever had. From the raw bar we ordered the "octopus coctel"... the octopus didn't even taste raw! Also, the avocado that came with the plate was delicious! Our main courses (fish and black cod) were done in an interesting way with a nice mix of spices. Interesting choice of wine and beer. Friendly staff. The prices are pricey but I will definitely be back.

It doesn't get better than this...it was our discovery of the week. Ironside has the best seafood happy hour anywhere. <br />We sat out front at the shuckers bar. These guys are machines and very friendly. They shuck oysters, clams, sea urchins, and prepare many other delicious seafood dishes. <br />We had $1 oysters, stone crabs, ceviche, and a couple of glasses of wine. It's a bargain, and all delicious. Ironside is in Little Italy, my favorite place in SD. <Enjoy this hidden gem!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at ️Ironside. We sat at the chef's counter, which I ️highly recommend. Our server was attentive and gave great suggestions. We chose a selection of oysters, split the lobster roll and salad, and finished off with the chocolate cake. The lobster roll was one of the best I have ever had. Would encourage anyone looking for a good seafood meal, with great ambiance to try Ironside.
