I was concerned before going as there were reviews of bad tummy’s . It was a tale of two halves, my friend got the trots but I didn’t. Make sure the food you eat is piping hot. The food was great. Even had English fry up and amazing tagline meals. The staff were amazing and made the holiday. Entertainment every night , some good some bad . Our room was near reception (5) which was quite damp and musty but the hotel rooms don’t get any sun at the sides of the building. Biggest drawback was nothing dried so we couldn’t dry swimwear and had to put it back on damp . Saying all this we had a fabulous holiday and would come back again. Perfect for people needing good accessibility. Plenty of sun beds with huge comfy cushions. Safe to go out walking in the day or evening. Beach was nice but the sea was very shallow but rough. English money accepted in notes in shops and. Exchanged easily in reception. All in all a very relaxed vibe.

This hotel is 4 star on the surface but the reality is more like a 3 star The good bits: Lovely communal areas - lots of seating areas and gorgeous decor Welcoming staff on reception Nice big rooms with plenty of storage and modern bathrooms The food is fine - nothing outstanding but usual all inclusive fayre Drinks were OK - wine drinkable but cocktails were pre-mixed Easy to book the A La Carte with reception Beach right across the road (however, it would be nice to have the addition of a beach bar, rather than having to go back to the hotel for drinks) Where it does not reach 4 star standards ; Our group had 3 bedrooms and they all had an underlying smell of foist/damp. The worst smelling one also had an awful urinal type like smell in the bathroom. It really was quite disgusting. We asked for a room swap but were told we were better to stay where we were ... not sure why? They came and poured something down the drains which improved things slightly but the room still smelled very damp. The WiFi is terrible - it constantly drops in and out (if you can even get on it). If you want to operate customer service through an app you need working WiFi. It also meant two of us who needed to work remotely could not do so as the connection was too unreliable. The biggest bug bear was sun beds …. Usual selfish guests bagging beds - many already reserved by 7am with no signs of anyone using them for hours. We struggled to get beds around the pool and on the beach with a lot being “reserved” first thing and not being used until late into the afternoon and other people wandering about with nowhere to sit. It’s just so unfair and selfish and needs policing by the staff. Who is monitoring your advertised policy of no reserving of sun beds? We asked the sun bed guy on the beach when there were so many beds reserved and not being used and he just said "it's not my problem"! It makes you wonder if staff are being tipped by guests to ignore it. The dining rooms at breakfast and lunch were so disorganised. Tables full of dirty plates. Never any tables ready. Repeatedly have to ask for the basics - cutlery, napkins, cups, etc. Staff were hit and miss. Some were friendly, others were downright miserable. Overall I found our whole stay disappointing. I booked the hotel independently and did not realise it was affiliated with TUI. I'm shocked that TUI classes it as a 4 star plus - there are many changes that need to be made before I would say it even reaches a 4 star. TIP : have a night at Zanzibar which is not part of the hotel but joined on to it. Brilliant night of food, drinks and entertainment.

Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view of both the sea and pool . The bathroom was huge with good powerful shower. The bed was very hard and took some getting used to. The staff on reception , the bar staff and the cleaning staff were all very friendly. The staff in the dining hall were a little bit hit and miss, we tipped when we received good service however im the restaurant they seems to be a culture that they expect you to tip to get good service. The entertainment staff were great , look out for Adam the photographer he takes great photos when you don't realise and you can buy them at a small cost. I enjoyed the food, my partner is a little more fussy and didn't enjoy it so much. The pool has a nice relaxed atmosphere with some pool games and aqua aerobics. A vistt to the spa for the Haman massage is a must it was lovely and very relaxing . The location is great a few shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk and a few pounds in a taxi to the Marina. I recommend a vist to the Croc park we really enjoyed it.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks in October. We are neither English nor French. For us it is the ideal place to relax. After busy working life in Europe we like a place where it is quiet, without loud music or silly entertainment games. Every time we wanted to sit outside we found without any problem a place on the higher beds, a bit away of the pool. It was very relaxing to be surrounded by trees and we liked watching the birds. A little bit annoying is that some guests take more then one cushion each, but the staff was always ready to help us to find one we could use. Food was always good, especially on Tuesdays when they do a lot of Maroccan dishes. Even after 3 weeks we didn't think the buffets were boring. We enjoyed the fresh fish on the show cooking. And we couldn't understand why an adult's only hotel serves chicken nuggets 😐 . The biggest disappointment was the fruit: it was nice sliced but often still very hard. Pomegranates are in season but were often not on the buffet. Waiter service during meals was always very good up till excellent. We went most days rather early in for food, so we never had a problem with finding a table. There are lot of new young waiters and some of them worked as good and efficient as the usual staff. It was a pleasure to meet them. They work very hard, being polite to them and a tip as reward for good service goes a long way. In the garden we were never asked if we wanted to drink something. So we walked up ourselves to the bar. Service was correct but in contrast with the excellent service in the restaurants not 'wow wow '. Everywhere the hotel was very clean. It is not brand new, but we considered that as "charming". We kept wondering what the extra value of the TUI people is? Most of them spoke only English. We think the hotel would better become a normal RIU hotel, without all the fuss of TUI Blue. We were unpleasant surprised by how rude guests could be against some staff members. Ignoring waiters, taking cups from laid out tables in stead of asking them, coming in for lunch or dinner in clothes that are only suitable on the beach. We think the management should be much more strict about this. We will go back.

We had an overall average stay at Tikida Beach with several aspects needing improvement. This is an adults‐only hotel, predominantly frequented by guests over 65, which might not appeal to those looking for a lively atmosphere. There were no daytime activities, and the poolside music was so quiet that it hardly added to the environment. Upon arrival, our room had several issues—no balcony, a broken fan, and a damaged bathroom shelf. Although we were told the hotel was full and that our room was acceptable, we were not offered a room with a balcony until our third day despite checking in daily. The receptionist’s demeanor was blunt, and she seemed indifferent to our concerns. The food was decent, with plenty of choices available, and while drinks were served at the table, we often had to wait and repeatedly ask for them. It appeared that French guests received preferential treatment, as their drinks were served promptly compared to ours. The booking included two à la carte restaurants: one offering basic Moroccan cuisine and another, international menu that impressed with its tasty offerings. Evening entertainment was satisfactory, featuring bingo most nights, along with karaoke, live bands, or dance performances. Tipping is customary in Morocco, so be prepared for that. We also enjoyed a few excursions—a camel ride with a BBQ and cable car rides—which were both excellent experiences, though they cost around £45 each. The hotel features a beach area with ample sunbeds, and while the local people are friendly, the vendors can be quite aggressive in their sales tactics. Overall, it was a relaxing holiday, but I wouldn’t return unless I was seeking a quieter, older crowd. For younger travelers looking for a vibrant atmosphere, this hotel may not be the best fit.

On first impressions of getting to the hotel I was pleased, it was a nice looking and extravagant entrance, Are room was large with a good size balcony overlooking the pool which was quite beautiful, most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially if you tip, tui entertainment staff were excellent sara, Isabel and Oliver, we had a good time joining in activities. My issue was with food cleanliness. I ended up being sick in the room for 2 days drinking water and eating minimal amounts of food, as I ended up having food poisoning, taking antibiotics and stomach cramp medication. I lost around 3 days not eating properly and unable go anywhere, we noticed that in the restaurants tables were ever cleaned with any bacterial spray. Placemats were only turned over and tables wiped with a tissue, then we also noticed chef's handling cooked food not using tongs. I personally expected better from tui blue hotel as we have used them before .We met lots of people in the same situation also a lady who ended up in hospital, we spoke to the Tui rep about the situation and she was very dismissive and not interested. Told us that no one else has reported the same problem. The sun beds and cushions around the hotel were all very dirty and old. Also witnessed plates with leftover food around the pool there all day and people were putting towels out as early as 4:30 a.m.... Sadly we didn't get to do many excursions or surfing as we planned Due to my sickness. Also in 10 days we only had 4 days of sun due to stubborn Sea mist which didn't help our holiday. This is my first ever negative review of a holiday. Usually there's just the odd niggle but this was another level...

Location opposite the night clubs Music till 5 am . Police . Car horns Hotel are aware of this and still put in the rooms . Do not stay in the rooms overlooking the main road . We waited 3 nights to be moved to a room away from the main road . TUI rep was very helpful but his hands were tied . Food very disappointing. I have come home with food poisoning. Plus 6 other people at the hotel .1 lady needing hospital treatment . Reception staff rude and not helpful . I was left in the foyer with a carrier bag vomiting and needing the bathroom . Sun beds everyone had put towels on beds from 4.30 am till 9am they were all gone . I would never return
