Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

I stayed at Stella Island in June 2025 in a premium swim up room and was absolutely blown away by the resort. I wasn’t sure if it would live up to all the social media hype but it absolutely did! The food was some of the best I’ve had at an all inclusive, especially the Asian a la carte and also loved the a la carte dining options for lunch. I only used the buffet for breakfast but there was something there for everyone and loved sitting outside over looking the pools. The room we stayed in was fantastic, spacious and the swim up was the icing on the cake. The drinks menu was impressive and all cocktails were made fresh with premium ingredients. We stayed at Stella Island last year and immediately knew we’d return – and once again, this year’s stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food, cleanliness, atmosphere, and especially the staff are simply on a whole different level compared to other resorts. It’s truly remarkable how much attention to detail and genuine hospitality the team shows. A very special thank you to Xydiari Ioanna, who took excellent care of us during lunch at Makuti and dinner at Oceania – professional, warm, and always attentive. The best waitress we ever met. Aris Loukadakis is hands down the friendliest and most reliable driver/hotel porter we've ever met. George Antonogiannakis made our lunches at Makuti Bar a true delight with his kindness and positive energy. In the evenings at Paraiso, George Shoinas was consistently courteous and attentive, and at La Parilla, George Danfomilis took great care of us every single time – his passion for service truly shows. Last but not least we got the best drinks at the bar from Kostis. Another daily highlight were the CrossFit sessions with Manos and Konstantinos. Two extremely skilled, motivating, and friendly trainers who made every morning workout the perfect start to the day. We’ve already booked our stay for next year – Stella Island is, without a doubt, the definition of a perfect holiday. Huge thanks to the entire team for another unforgettable experience!

Only one word for this place is PARADISE Exceptional stay in pure luxury will definitely be going back staff are very attentive met a lovely member of staff at breakfast called Anastasia, staff in all areas are friendly and helpful , every where is spotless pools are amazing and varied accommodation to choose from .Food and snacks are wonderful and very well presented 5 stars is not enough for this hidden gem

This is a beautiful hotel that is well geared towards its target young honeymooners market. It’s young, slick and ‘insta-tastic’. There seemed to be some heavy marketing in 2024 via UK social media ‘influencers’ and that’s how I discovered it. But my party were in their 50s and 60s and we found that there was a good mix of age groups generally. My expectations were really high and overall it did not disappoint - I can see how it has deserved its Conde Nast ‘best adults All Inclusive in Europe’ award - but it’s not the best adults only hotel in Europe in my view/personal experience. The food and wine are excellent. If you are AI then there are only a small handful of wines included but for Greek wines they are good quality and much better than I’ve experienced in other Greek chain hotels. The service in all the restaurants was excellent except for Parilla which really stood out as being poor. Other guests we spoke to said the same. Having to continually flag staff attention to order food and drinks was frustrating. This wasn’t a one off we ate there 4 times in 4 days (1 dinner and 3 lunches) then found much better service - most notably in Makuti - and so we didn’t go back. The AI sprits were less great. Ordered a gin and tonic which did not taste like any G&T I’ve ever had. There’s no brandy included in the ‘standard’ AI package other than Metaxa. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss. Enjoyed Espresso martini, gin fizz and sangria. One of our party only drinks 2 types of spirits neither of which they had - yet we’ve not had that issue in Spain or Turkey. The main pool bar service and that in the reception area was really attentive. Special mention to Kostas who works really hard and is great fun. We were well supplied during the day! Once we got to know the staff (Parilla excepted because even though we ate there the most times the staff didn’t care to get to know the guests) we were looked after so well for our entire stay. On to the room - we had a premium pool view which was spacious, well equipped and well serviced. Minor issues: safe is located at the rear of the centre wardrobe and you have to move clothes out the way each time to access. The wardrobes are not floor length so if you wear long dresses they are hung up with the bottom third of the dress crumpled up on the wardrobe floor. There are no magnifying mirrors for shaving or make up application, neither of which are assisted by the room lighting which is generally dim. The pool areas are lovely, clean and sunbeds easy to secure - although before 10am. After that most are reserved/occupied unless you decamp to the back of the resort - the hotel was full during our stay. It’s amusing reading the comments on social media groups from guests unhappy about the sunbed reserving so then start getting up at 7.45 to make sure they bag a bed and then themselves become those guests who reserve sunbeds at silly o’clock.
