One of the most spectacular golf courses I have ever played. Unfortunately due to the heavy rains, no buggies were available and it was fairly wet under foot but the course remained very playable. You can see that there is ongoing investment in the course and to conduction of the fairway and greens was remarkable considering the weather over the previous weeks. Good pro shop, nice locker room and great bar area. The staff were all very accommodating and the service was impeccable. This course stands up to any of the many top class courses I have played. The cherry on the top must be the course layout and the views are to die for!!

This hotel, with its management & staff, everything including the security at the entrance is of a very high standard. Food 100% rooms 100% environment 100% Patrick,Nonni,Ayden,Celeste,Shireen, the kitchen staff at the breakfast buffet,Caryn,Macky,Zwele, thank you for exceeding my expectations. We spent 4 nights at Arabella with family and friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. Room was great. Staff amazing. The organisation of the 50th party just outstanding. Great choice of meals at the restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend this hotel as a must if you are in the area. Not to forget the spa and golf which are both fabulous.

Having stayed at Arabella before, it was noticeable that it is still a excellent hotel and on par with my best expectations. Our room on the ground floor overlooking the lagoon was perfect and nothing can be faulted. Just one thing and I'm not criticizing, but a recommendation, is to ask housekeeping to do the changeover of towels earlier and not at 10pm. The golf course shows why it is in the top 10 in South Africa. A round on Arabella, makes for everlasting memories. I can't fault the food in the restaurant or the service in the bar. I have noticed some reviews criticizing the food, but i can't say the same. Our food was tasty, well-presented and delicious.

Our 4 night stay was very enjoyable. Friendly staff. Pool area is large, which was needed as there were days when almost every lounge bed was taken. Restaurant was ok for dinner, service a little slow-Hermanus restaurants are better Double charged for our golf and buggy, which took over a week to refund. Golf shop was chaotic at times, not sure everyone in the pro shop knew the procedures for green fees already paid in advance and those that needed to be charged on the day. Hotel room was super-oveelooked the course and mountains. Quoted almost double by the hotel for the costs for uber/taxi to Hermanus. Breakfast was great-huge buffet and eggs cooked to order. Lounge area for pre and post dinner drinks had ample room. The golf course is excellent-fair and greens very good condition. Pace of play was very good too.

We spent a wonderful family weekend at the Arabella in Kleinmond. The service was warm and friendly from the moment we pulled up. Every request we had was met, and our suite exceeded our expectations. The meals were consistently delicious in all venues and very well priced. Special mention to dinner in the restaurant, the service was fantastic and the live music was a bonus. The pool was amazing and our daughter had a great time swimming all weekend. The Spa was calming and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. This hotel will continue to be one of our favorites.

I had an incredible stay at the Arabella Hotel, Golf & Spa in Hermanus for a recent conference, and I can’t say enough about the amazing staff! Meki at the bar was an absolute delight, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere with every drink served. Sino, the concierge, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was seamless, offering thoughtful recommendations with a genuine smile. Fiona at reception was a star, handling everything with such professionalism and warmth that it set the perfect tone for our visit. Other staff members, whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch, were equally fantastic, always ready to help with a friendly attitude. The entire team’s dedication made our conference experience stress-free and enjoyable, and their hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. The Arabella is a stunning property, and the staff’s passion for exceptional service makes it a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

The staff on arrival and throughout were very welcoming and warm. The breakfasts were wonderful and the pianist in the evening made our cocktails and light dinners very special. SHANNON in particular at breakfast was remarkable. The a la carte breakfasts were superb . The hot baths were a treat. Could be slightly warmer … but still served it’s purpose! So relaxing! Downside: dinner in the dining room disappoints. Very oily, greasy and sauce covered ! Salad alone was excellent Altogether an excellent visit ! Only downside was the dinner. Too much sauce and grease added. Highly recommended otherwise!
