This is my wife and I's second time staying at The Windsor and frankly, we won't be staying anywhere else but the Windsor on future visits to Asheville. The accommodations are luxurious, you feel like you have your own private apartment in the heart of everything and the staff is absolutely amazing! This is a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel I would highly recommend, 5 stars.

Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown Asheville. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Next door to a wine bar/ gallery. Very spacious and felt like home with a full kitchen and separate living space. My only issue was no one was there at check in. There was a fellow traveler there who helped us. Not sure how common this is.

I grew up in Asheville (Asheville High School class of 1980), and my mom maintained a house there until earlier this year. So, whenever I visited her, I stayed at her house. But now that she has moved to a retirement community in Asheville, I get to stay anywhere I want when I visit her, and I choose the Windsor! It offers the best of everything my wife and I want: walking distance proximity to all things in downtown Asheville, an extraordinary architectural renovation, a spacious and comfortable suite, a full kitchen (who knew?), attention to detail in all of the furnishings, free parking!, and an attentive staff. If you want a truly unique, boutique setting in downtown Asheville, this is THE PLACE. You can drive over to the Grove Park Inn and visit for a full afternoon. Even get a massage. But you'll be glad you're going back to the Windsor for the evening and all that downtown Asheville has to offer.

The Windsor was a great choice - the staff was so friendly, the decor was really cool, and our unit was like an apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bath. The location couldn't be better - walking distance to so many restaurants shops and entertainment downtown.

The Windsor Boutique Hotel was the perfect homebase for a long weekend in downtown Asheville. The suite setup provided ample space for relaxation and the separate bedroom was great for our family of 3. The location was ideal for walking to many shops and restaurants and the free parking was close and convenient. The staff was super attentive and the hotel was beautifully decorated and clean. We will absolute stay again!

The Windsor is a gem of a boutique hotel located in a convenient and vibrant part of Asheville. The room we stayed in was well decorated, clean, and comfortable with plenty of space to feel at home. It is also a real treat to have free parking.
