A family-friendly hotel with variety of amenities and activities available. With direct access to the adventure waterpark at level 1 of the hotel, multiple entry to the waterpark is allowed within the day. Do expect to wait 15-30mins to enter the waterpark as it gets crowded over the weekends.
Complimentary breakfast was provided. A decent spread for kids as well (cereal, mini pancakes, roti canai etc). I'd recommend to go between 7-8.30am to avoid crowds as it gets busy after 8.30am and you will expect a queue before you are seated.
Do catch the live band between 8.30-11pm while enjoying some drinks. The perfect way to wind down after a long day.
Drop off the kids at the Roxity Kids Club for some "me-time". Do check if your room booking includes complimentary access (1hr per kid). If it does and you intend to drop the kids off on the last day of your trip, drop them off first before checking out. Else the system will not be able to retrieve your booking and you will have to pay 35RM for 1hr play. Socks are required for kids to enter. Alternatively, you can purchase a pair at 5RM over the counter.
Do check out the coffee bar right next to the gym. A relaxing ambience with variety of selection on the menu.
There is also a swimming pool on level 3 and kids waterplay area on level 1, right outside of Roxity Kids Club. A souvenir shop is also available on level 3 near the reception area and a toys & candy shop on level 1.
Other activities available on the facility is the huge chess board and archery.

All of us had a great time. Hard rock was amazing. It is not a very new hotel but very well maintained and all the staff are just incredible. Rooms were nice and clean. They tried their best to accommodate our 6 rooms into one floor but managed to give us 4 rooms on the same floor and we were very happy that they tried their best to accommodate to our requests. Breakfast was decent, even kids have food options. Grab food can access the hotel so no worries if you get bored with hotel food. There is direct access to adventure Waterpark and it’s unlimited entry for the day, so u can actually go back to ur hotel room for toilet break, or just to rest and back to the waterpark when ready. The waterpark have really good selection of slides, the roller coaster was so nice, just hope they will improve the wave frequency at the wave pool. Staff at waterpark was also very sweet all of them. Overall, if u have kids, even if u don’t, u will enjoy hard rock desaru. We didn’t have time to explore their watersports or desaru beach, but hope to come back again during non monsoon season. Oh ya, thank u hard rock desaru for the beautiful birthday deco, free rock shop souvenir and free birthday cake slice. U guys were amazing.

We would rate our stay 9/10
1 is missing because on the shelf in the room is dusty and is not well proper cleaning by the staff. The swimming pool is ok, the food for the breakfast is okk, and the ambience is nice. Thanks to Trip.com for giving the FREE 2 adults desaru coast adventure waterpark!

We had a really pleasant one-night family stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy. The hotel’s rock-inspired design gave off a fun and vibrant vibe, but it still felt comfortable and family-friendly.
Our room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a nice view and thoughtful touches for families with kids. Breakfast had a good variety — both local and international options — and everything tasted fresh.
The kids loved the pool and the direct connection to Adventure Waterpark made it super convenient for a short getaway. The hotel’s location near the beach and nearby attractions also made exploring easy.
Overall, it was a short but memorable trip — great hospitality, nice ambiance, and perfect for families looking for a quick break from Singapore. We’ll definitely consider coming back for a longer stay next time!

The are still room for cleanness as the floor is Abit sticky. Overall the food choice is limited for chinese food. The hotel is near the waterpark.
