Location: The resort offers convenient access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot via the monorail, making it easy for guests to reach major attractions quickly. Views of the fireworks from the lagoon and some rooms enhance the experience, creating memorable moments.

We stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in July 2025 for 10 nights, and it was an incredible experience for our family of four (two girls, ages 11 and 14). We felt very fortunate to be able to stay Club Level, and what truly made the trip exceptional were the cast members—especially those in the Hawaii building. From housekeeping, to the concierge desk, to the Club Level lounge hosts, everyone treated us with genuine kindness and care, making us feel like family. Their pride in their work and attention to detail created an unforgettable stay. Our room was spacious, well-kept, and always fresh thanks to outstanding housekeeping. The quality of the beds and linens was excellent—luxurious, comfortable, and noticeable the moment we entered the room, ensuring consistently restful sleep. The bathroom setup also worked very well for a family of four, making it easy for everyone to get ready each morning without feeling cramped. Disney’s attention to detail in room design, upkeep, and comfort was clear, and we greatly appreciated it. Transportation was another highlight: between the monorail, boats, and the quick walk to the TTC, we could often be in Magic Kingdom within 10 minutes—amazing! Even the bus service to Hollywood Studios and the water parks worked seamlessly. The convenience of this location simply can’t be beat. The Club Level food and beverage offerings exceeded our expectations compared to our last stay. Each morning and evening, the rotating selections felt fresh and varied, with chefs plating small plates Aitems for guests—a nice touch. Snack time in the afternoon was a lifesaver after hot park days, with fruit, vegetables, mixed nuts, chips, sweet treats, and the most addictive homemade chips. One suggestion: each night they offered mac and cheese for the kids. For kids, such as ours, with dairy sensitivities, it would be wonderful to consistently add a simple option like chicken strips. That small addition would make the offerings even more family-friendly. Resort amenities were excellent. The pool area had plenty of chairs, and our girls enjoyed the crafts and activities offered throughout the day (most were available for a small fee, usually $8–15). The theming throughout the resort was beautiful—the tiki torches, the music, the beach with its perfect view of fireworks, and the Disney PhotoPass photographers around the grounds all added to the magic. Every detail felt intentional and special. Since our last visit, the new DVC Island Tower had opened. We were initially concerned that the added guests might overwhelm the resort, but overall, it did not detract from our experience. The one area that felt crowded was Captain Cook’s quick-service restaurant, which often had long lines and little seating. A Coca-Cola Freestyle machine at the Volcano Pool (similar to the one at the new Island pool) could reduce congestion inside Captain Cook’s. Adding a food truck option somewhere on property might also help ease crowds and give

This is the absolute best resort on property. I love when I can swing it to stay here. I highly recommend the water/pool view! The staff is super nice and the place is very clean. They have amazing food. I wouldn't recommend the chicken Caesar salad but get the shrimp Caesar salad instead. Great place!

We stayed at the resort for five nights in early October, largely on the recommendation from many people. We did not have a disastrous experience by any means, but we were not overly impressed based on the price they charge for rooms. If we visited Disney again, we would select a less costly option and don't think we would need to sacrifice much in doing so. Some of the benefits are documented in other reviews (access to monorail, etc.). On the negative side, we were surprised that you only get cleaning service for your room every other day (even Motel 6 cleans your room everyday). Our room was on the ground floor facing a crowded walkway and so we had to leave our shades closed all day or else be a fishbowl. The resort is very busy/crowded, but I view that more as something to be expected on a Disney trip. I inadvertently left a jacket in the closet of our room when we left (which is my fault) and realized I forgot it on the way to the airport. What I found frustrating was there was no way to contact the hotel to try to report it (they have no phone, email, etc.). The only option was to submit a generic "lost item" request to Disney itself (no different than if you lost something at one of the parks). Not surprisingly, the response received was they were unable to find it. So to the hotel employee who claimed the jacket for themselves, you are welcome! Overall, it was very expensive for what you get and has pretty average service. You'd be better served by saving some money and staying elsewhere.

Ritz Carlton prices….Travel Lodge service/accommodations. The only reason to stay at the Polynesian is location. But that’s not a good enough reason to justify the price, service and accommodations. We stayed at the Polynesian for our honeymoon 40 years ago (when Disney’s management was top notch). We decided to splurge and bring our children and their families back to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. There are 16 of us now. Rather than standard rooms, we upgraded and reserved 3 Resort View rooms and a Water View……$40,000 for 5 days. Upon arrival, something went awry in the building with the Resort view rooms so they downgraded us to CONSTRUCTION/PARKING LOT VIEW ROOMS. No discount. No refund. We have 2 babies that take naps during construction hours. Any other hotel brand would give you BETTER rooms. Not Disney. Get a nice hotel outside of Disney, rent a car, and buy a park hopper pass. There are fabulous hotels just outside of Disney World that are much nicer and a quarter of the price.

Beautiful resort, great location. But as a Disney Travel Agent I would really struggle to recommend this hotel. Booked a weekend night here a few weeks ago. Dropped our luggage in the room, grabbed a dole whip, and headed to the parks. Arrived back at the room late and hit the pillow. We woke up the next morning to a broken shower (the handle fell off) toilet that wouldn't flush, and a tub that wouldn't drain the water stuck in it. Contacted front desk immediately and was told maintenance would come out. We wait an hour and no one showed up. Went back to the front desk and asked again what we could do; we needed a bathroom to get ready. Maintenance was no where to be found and we already gave up the first hour of our park reservations. Their advice? To use the public restroom. We arrived back at the room later to checkout and I'll spare you the rest of the drama. We went two days without a shower in the hot Florida sun with no alternative, no recourse, no apology, nothing. Instead, for $950 a night, if something goes wrong, you'll be escorted to use the public restroom. Here's a photo of my husband washing his hair in the sink. What a disaster.

Disney's Polynesian Village has been my favorite vacation spot for me for over 40 years. I have stayed there many times and always had a great time. The location, newly refitted rooms with modern fittings and club-level amenities are wonderful. I was surprised this visit to see how many many more accommodations had been added to the village since our last visit: huge buildings on the edge of the resort. But I was really shocked by the trash on the beach and the cigarette butts on the sidewalks and walkways! HOW CAN THIS BE???! I saw staff trundling around in their little carts everywhere but no one picked up the butts? They do have a designated smoking area: 2 benches tucked away under some trees in a rather remote location, very inconspicuous but clearly marked on the resort map. I see no reason for cigarette butts to be lying around in a non-smoking area. It's probably no coincidence that these things appeared after the accommodation space effective tripled without a commensurate increase in staff. Additional tables have been squeezed into every on-site restaurant so that it's now a very "urban squeeze" vibe there instead of a relaxing resort. We really like the Polynesian for the opportunity to visit the Magic Kingdom via low-stress small boat so we will probably continue to visit there. But the calm, relaxed sanctuary of happiness of the Polynesian seems to have been overwhelmed by unsupported growth. But maybe the "growing pains" will resolve with time. I really hope so!

I was there for a girls trip and we stayed at the new Poly Tower and it was gorgeous! It sits on the water and has several different places to watch the MK fireworks. We had a studio room with 3 ladies and it was enough room for us. The restaurant at the hotel had indoor or outdoor seating and the food and drinks are delicious. The pool area is just a short walk and there is also a path to the main hotel to catch the busses and monorail into the parks. We loved it there and will be back.

Just arrived home from staying at this resort for 14 nights, the hotel is beautiful literally feels like your in hawaii with all the tropical plants at the entrance and around the pools. The interior is stunning and really matches the theme. The staff are very friendly all across the resort and the hotel itself is spotlessly clean including the pools. The room is beautiful and spacious with a large ensuite bathroom. The room was cleaned everyday and provided with fresh towels. We made use of all 3 pools and hot tubs which were quiet in the evening. We ate at the main restaurant and snack bar which was both really nice with good quality food. The only negative was the noise in the rooms as we could hear stomping all through the night which was enough to keep us all awake even the heavy sleepers! On one night i got no sleep at all because of noise from other guests in the room above us which isn’t ideal when you’re busy everyday walking in the parks.
