Chateau Elan Winery

Chateau Elan was beautiful. There was plenty to do during our weekend there. Restaurants were amazing and we really loved the spa!

Great weekend getaway for the girls! Spent time by the pool, had a nice dinner, took a stroll around the vineyards, and danced the night away at the Bourbon Bar.

Amazing experience from the wine, food, and room! We ate at Versaille for dinner and it was delicious! We will be back next time we are in Georgia!

This is our second time staying here and we were really disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The chair in the room looked like someone used it as their personal Kleenex. The room was not cleaned the entire time we stayed there because they would come around 4PM, while we were trying to get ready for diner. We were there for an even hosted there and they knew our schedule. The staff in all the other areas were very nice and helpful, just wished they could hire people the can speak English.

…this is a lovely resort & all the staff I met thus far has been wonderful. I would love to have given a better review however it must go without saying that it wasn’t the BEST experience I would have expected! There were “minor” things such as the resort trying to charge me ($435) again for my room (this was NOT the incidentals charge, an actual room charge after I’ve already paid), then there was no soap when I showered last night! When I called the front desk at 10:40ish pm, NO ONE answered! I tried again, maybe there was an influx of guest that came in, again NO ONE answered! I had to follow up with them again this morning, fortunately I was able to speak with someone. When the staff came to exchange the lemongrass soap, he handed it to me. When I asked was he not going to put in up, he told me he didn’t have the key so he left it there, only for me to have to wait again for additional staff to bring the key! The bed in my room was not properly made (the foot of the bed). Non working items in the room was the TV and the phone by the bed! Fortunately enough, I had a friend come visit me and we grabbed something to eat and when I reported it as I left, they had their engineer come in to fix it! The Thanksgiving buffet was quite the experience and really enjoyed the array of food & the ambience! It’s a shame that the other pieces factored into my experience! I came, fully understood that I was being charged for my room, resort fees, overnight parking, everything a la cart and welcomed the experience! This was a staycation for work life balance … heavily emphasizing BALANCE! There is no excuse for mishaps such as these for this type of establishment! I’m hoping my last day at the Spa tomorrow will be relaxing and inviting!

My mom and I were up for a friendsgiving from Atlanta and decided to stay the night. The wine tasting was fun and the hotel was completely relaxing
