Charming!! The staff, the building and the friendly welcome were all charming. You couldn't find a better location and the Orangerie is period, authentic and a unique destination. Book it!!

Stunning period building, beautifully decorated. Staff are seriously some of the best we've experienced, friendly, super efficient, and knowledgeable. Bedroom probably need a little decorating type repairs, but its an old building, and I know drom experience how difficult it is to keep them looking perfect. A delightful hotel in a very central location. A definite keeper in our list of places we'd revisit.

The hotel is charming & very central making it easy to explore the city. The lounge with its roaring fire was great refuge from the wintery weather. The staff were attentive & looked after us so well. We even got a surprise treat left for us on December 6th for Sinterklass. Thank you all at Hotel de Orangerie for a blissful 2 nights stay, we are now properly in the Christmas spirit!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in - and I live in hotels for about 5 months of the year. From the very beginning, the reception staff were incredibly helpful with luggage, directions to the garage, and checking us in. The hotel is extremely comfortable - the room was just right in all regards. There are many extras to make you feel welcome, such as complementary drinks and a biscuit pack to help you on your way when you depart. Right by the canal, near the city centre, next door to the brewery! Close to great restaurants.
