First, no iron in the room. I requested one and I was told there weren't irons at all. Later in the day I see an iron and board in front of another room (I took pictures). So weird they would lie to you about this. The front desk staffer, leandro, told me that housekeeping would come up and iron the outfit before my keynote for a large event that had booked multiple venues at the hotel, (ie. a prominent client). I got flown from the USA to give the main keynote and I could not get my clothes to look professional. In addition, I booked a spa appointment to be had after checkout. I have traveled over a million miles on United and I stay at hotels close to 100 nights a year. I have never been told that my massage (which I am paying for to use the facilities) could not be done after checkout.

Professional, accommodating and pleasant front desk. Marina (I think that’s her name) was very helpful, friendly and explained everything we needed to know. We stayed here for 2 nights before our Antarctica Expedition. No frills. She accommodated my request and also gave us a very nice, quiet room. Front desk and the hotel itself is clean, as well comfortable beds The bathroom is huge with a standing shower and also a soaking tub. We also ate in their restaurants outside the patio and by the bar. Food and prices are reasonable and tasty. Breakfast is included and plenty The staff all speak English and pleasant. Highly recommended

Booked in the hotel via Hurtigruten tour and were impressed with the location, rooms and staff. Our room was gigantic with two large beds, so we slept in one each! Lots of storage space, wardrobe, small safe and fridge. Water bottles are available, but note you are charged, tap water is fine. Bathroom gigantic with toiletries provided for the enclosed shower and bath. Great views over the area from the upper floors. Had the breakfast buffet a couple of times with an extensive range of hot and cold items. We walked to Puerto Madero and Centro over 2 hours, seeing a lot of the city sights, easy to do with a map supplied from the check in desk. Lots of bars and restaurants to the south of the hotel along the suipacha street. Asked for a wake up call for the early departure to Ushuaia and was surprised to hear an employee knock on the door at 0230L , versus a phone call, but it did the job. Front desk staff and baggage boys efficient with the checking in/out procedures slick.
