Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay

Stayed here over the October long weekend with family and two of our children, ages 4 and 12. The resort is great for exactly that purpose - spending time with family. We were probably among the only guests not there for a wedding (there were three going on simultaneously) and I recognize that this is the off season, so many facilities were closed or understaffed. The indoor pool was very nice and the kids loved the family movies playing at night time. The games and mini-golf were also great, and while we were there the resort was running complimentary hay rides through the Blue Heron rookery with a hot chocolate bar when the ride returned to the hotel, which was a great touch. The food really left a lot to be desired, especially for the prices that were being charged. Water's Edge Grill for breakfast was borderline inedible, we went into Easton the next day for a much better meal. The bar area was slightly better but again was clearly frozen food that was often not served hot, and there were fruit flies everywhere. The employees were all lovely, friendly and prompt, and when I requested an extra blanket through the app in arrived at our door in less than 5 minutes which I think may be the quickest service I've ever experienced. We plan on coming back during the summer to experience all of the outdoor facilities.

We wanted to stay local for our honeymoon and the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort did not disappoint. Very relaxing, quiet and beautiful property. Friendly staff and great food. The sunset views were amazing. Already planning our return.

This place is beautiful, food and music were great. It is a great place to relax and exhale. The location is perfect for a quiet weekend away.

Beautiful resort. Food - great! Staff - wonderful! Above & beyond customer service. Shower - no water pressure. Conferences that are there - unfortunately are very loud and ruin it for other guests late at night. But it is a wonderful place, kayaking, great food, very clean, smells great, beautiful views, lovely staff, rooms are clean & cozy - front desk is excellent!
