As a local, when I put the hotel into google maps I was a bit concerned about the location. But once you arrive, it doesn't really matter. The staff were very attentive and friendly, definitely 5 star service. There is a WhatsApp number you can use to send any requests or questions to which is great. We stayed in a Vineyard room, and you can see they are very new. Beautifully finished with lovely modern furniture I really loved the style. The deck with the heated pool is very spacious with gorgeous views and sun loungers. The pool is PROPERLY heated, not just lukewarm like some other places. But it's also not a jacuzzi - it's big enough to feel like a pool. Really really nice addition. The room has wonderful views with floor to ceiling windows which I loved, and the bathroom is beautifully done. Our meals were served in the owners suite due to renovations which was actually really nice, and the food was exceptional (and largely sourced from the farm I think which we loved). Room was very quiet (I think the glass is double glazed) and very clean. Oh don't miss out on the spa! We had wonderful massages (sometimes the spas at boutique hotels can be a let down, this one was not!).

Loved our stay at vergenoegd low boutique hotel. The rooms were spotless ..staff outstanding. The food top drawer and the hotel situated 10 mins from Stellenbosch .. highly recommended

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever visited to date. The staff are super friendly and helpful , the location is exceptional. The food is to die for ! I will most definitely visit this hotel again.

Unbelievable experience
Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.

Incredible wine resort...........just beautiful to walk around and Grace was nice enough to escort me around the entire resort and explain the history of the property. Tasty wine, comfortable accomodation, fantastic staff and dining and drinking wonderful.....such a great value cannot wait to return!!

When we arrived , we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff . They escorted us to the free wine tasting , had a lovely cheese platter . The manager called us and said our room was ready , what a room . The jacuzzi was hot and ready for use . We had dinner and the food was amazing . Breakfast was also lovely . In all our experience was exceptional .

Wonderful place. Very well maintained property with excellent structure. We stayed in one of the cottages: very comfortable, well maintained, spacious, tastefully decorated, large bedrooms and bathrooms, large bed, good quality pillows, heated and private pool, complimentary wines and drinks, with daily replenishment. The staff very welcoming and efficient. The winery's headquarters are in classic style and very well preserved. There are two restaurants of excellent level. The raising of ducks to clean the vineyard is a spectacle in itself. Twice a day they are released to walk around the property. A real noisy party. I would go back there without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Our family and friends stayed at Vergenoegd low boutique hotel for a wedding at Clara’s barn… it was the best weekend ever! We hosted the pre-wedding pool party at the Presidential suite… it was beautiful and such a jol! The venue is soo pretty! The staff are amazing… they went to the moon and back to accommodate us and to spoil us! Thank you! You are amazing! And will be special as part of our beautiful memories… for ever!
