We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. I don’t usually write reviews, but the team here were the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever encountered, and it felt important to share how much they enhanced our trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They offered brilliant recommendations for places to eat and explore, which really shaped our experience. On our final day, we had a beautiful meal in the hotel restaurant, and the staff kindly arranged for us to dine earlier so we could make our flight. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

Stayed here for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, we even had a partial view of the sea, although we didn't go for the more expensive room with a guaranteed full sea view. This was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in a hotel. The breakfast was also fantastic and high quality. Everything we expected and more. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back next time we visit Cape Town.

What an incredible experience visiting your beautiful properties! I had the privilege of doing a site inspection at the Fresnaye property first, together with Achmat — what an absolute star! He was so knowledgeable about the property and such a wonderful host. All the staff there were incredibly kind and welcoming. I absolutely loved every single art piece at Fresnaye — wow! The property is stunning, perfectly blending modern design with luxurious touches. Just like at the Bantry Bay property, the team was warm, accommodating, and attentive. The location at Bantry Bay is truly breathtaking, and the décor strikes the perfect balance between classic elegance and modern sophistication. The Clarendon in Bantry Bay is always a treat. We always choose a sea facing room as the view is very much part of the incredible experience. It’s the perfect combination of paradise and ease. Every detail elegantly considered for your comfort and pleasure.

I spent a few days at the Clarendon Bantry Bay hotel whilst visiting Cape Town as a solo traveler, the staff were excellent in their service, support on where to go, what to do. Ever so friendly Accommodation was first class and the breakfast was something else. The position of the hotel gave a great ocean view. Would recommend a stay

The service deserves a special mention—it was genuine five-star. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They didn't just do their jobs; they went out of their way to create a memorable experience for us. The breakfast was on another level entirely—absolutely delicious and the perfect start to each day. The hotel itself is lovely, with a very chic and intimate boutique feel that we loved. I wouldn't hesitate to rate our experience a 10/10 across the board. This hotel is in a great location. It has wonderful views of the ocean and it’s really enjoyable to sit in the lobby and enjoy the Jews! The rooms are specious and well designed . All of the staff is super lovely!! We really enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was excellent, with a buffet, table service, and à la carte menu. The staff were very kind and, above all, genuinely warm-hearted, not just pretending. The owner is a very caring person, which explains the entire pleasant atmosphere. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel one evening. It’s a pity that the hotel (for an extra charge) doesn’t offer dinner every night. (The chef is excellent!).
