We received the most friendliest service, when we arrived. The owners Jenny and Sebastian was so welcoming and me and my two kids really enjoyed it there. They offered us a delicious breakfast Saturday and Sunday and throughout, they told us about a little book store in the area that we visited three times! It was like heaven for my daughter who love bookstores. We took walks on the beach which is just opposite and took lots of photos. Manor on the bay is definitely a place I would go to again for a weekend stay.

We spent four nights there … two couples. Everything was just amazing. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the view of the sea is simply stunning. Jenny & Sebaastian are the perfect hosts. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Honestly, it’s a 12 out of 10. We were super happy.

Our few days at Manor on the Bay were wonderful. The hosts, Jenny and Sebastiaan, were warm, welcoming and attentive. Our room was large, airy and comfortable, and had a lovely view over the garden and the sea in the (close) distance. The breakfasts provided a changing variety of dishes. The location is very good - the beach is a short stroll away, along with the shops and restaurants on the main road. All in all, the Manor is a great place to stay.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who made us feel at home right away. The location is fantastic, right on a small beach, and the rooms offer beautiful ocean views. Everything is stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. A wonderful place to stay!

A beautiful room, a beautiful manor. The owner and his wife are lovely and attentive. A definite if you are either wanting a weekend away from Cape Town or a remote stay outside of the city when visiting.

We had a great stay in Gordon’s Bay. We were there at a particularly windy time, not uncommon in this bay. Gorgeous room with views across the bay. Great location to visit the vineyards around Somerset west. Don’t miss Lourensford and Vergelegen vineyards. Very nice buffet breakfast and the best scrambled eggs ! Also highly recommend eating at Cafe Zest. Food is above and beyond what you expect for the quiet location and price.
