Friendly staff comfy bed.
Breakfast was good the first day but for the next two days they had no smoked salmon, apparently a problem with suppliers bad excuse, also no Hp Sauce.
Loft rooms very noisy with early morning birds walking on the metal roof, a known problem in these rooms, hence always cheaper.

A delightful hotel at Sea Point. Modern and stylish decor and extremely comfortable rooms. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming which really made us feel special. Special mention for excellent breakfasts and very tasty snacks and meals. The cakes looked delicious too although we didn’t partake! Sitting in the lovely courtyard and enjoying the calm but happy atmosphere is a memory I will treasure forever. Pool area is small but very comfortable and the spa is great value. I had an excellent massage so if you have time, treat yourself!

The staff at reception (Refilwe) and the porter were so wonderful and welcoming and helpful! The ladies in the restaurant made a wonderful breakfast plate for a special occasion and the food and coffee was great! The room can be a little noisy at night with the restaurant furniture packing noises filtering up the corridors so potentially ask for a higher room but otherwise our stay was great, and there is small attention to detail to make the stay more comfortable - slippers, great toiletries, nespresso etc.

We enjoyed our stay at the Winchester. Views of paragliders landing from Signal Hill, great service and amazing food (especially breakfast in the courtyard!). The spa facilities were also good - I had a hot stone massage. The classic room had windows onto the central courtyard so is a little less private and can get a touch musty. Otherwise very clean and comfortable.

Staff were lovely, breakfast a delight and an overall good location to base yourself at, for a stay in Cape Town. We had a few cleanliness issues in the room (hence the 4 rating), but in fairness the staff dealt with them immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

A truly beautiful hotel with incredibly hospitable staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always greeting us with a genuine smile. From housekeeping to the front desk, the service was flawless. Breakfast was a highlight—without a doubt the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. The location is perfect, right across from the promenade, where we enjoyed scenic walks alongside Cape Town residents, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and mountains.

My wife and I stayed here in October with our adult daughter and her husband to begin our journey in South Africa. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was outstanding from the minute we arrived at the airport until the minute we left. The food at the restaurants was fantastic. We also had massages on site, and they were great as well. Would highly recommend this hotel.
