The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome.
In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

The location was great. A safe place to stay and enjoy the waterfront eateries and shoppings. Beautiful environment with cool weather most of the time. Staff were friendly and provided a good service.

卧具舒適，但發現細小衣物殘留棉絮，衞生狀況欠佳，毛巾有消毒水刺鼻氣味，顏色偏暗沉
盥洗室設備整齊，但設計風格老舊，浴室噴頭方向缺乏調整空間，水流不匯聚，有發散
飲用水未採用國際品牌礦泉水，口感普通，兩瓶水東倒西歪，陳設雜亂，未配備高品質水晶杯
酒店前台接待缺乏五星級酒店的行李車服務（未主動提供） 酒店大門需要自己推開，缺乏門僮
電梯整體老舊，按鈕有磨損痕跡，按壓觸感反饋感受欠佳
室內空間寬敞，視野不錯，但缺乏科技感，沒有室內音箱，未配備自動窗簾、語音控制空調、全屋遙控器，未提供拖鞋、牙具、刮鬍刀 酒店網速早間測試約為50Mbps，速度一般

We really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria and Alfred hotel. The team were incredibly attentive and friendly, the views from our room were magnificent and the hotel itself is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent location at the heart of the lively Waterfront district, ample opportunities for shopping, restaurants, harbour tours. Handy for hop-on hop-off tourist bus service to Table Mountain, vineyards, Kirstenbosch Gardens, penguins, etc. Premium hotel, quiet and spacious rooms, good breakfast buffet. Friendly and attentive staff. The area feels very safe for walking, even at night. Thoroughly recommended.

The V&A hotel was a great place to stay in Cape Town. We stayed before and after a safari. The location was great. It was on the V&A waterfront which has a wide assortment of restaurants and the V&A mall had good shopping, like any large mall. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, we did not hear any street noise. The rooms were large. They came in two sizes, but even the smaller room (we had one of each) was large compared to most hotels so we could spread out our suitcases and gear. The bed was very comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. The front desk staff were helpful when we needed a car and were always polite when we walked through the lobby. Plenty of staff to take care of new guests/luggage/questions. The hotel restaurant was good quality. We ate breakfast there each morning and there was a good selection of fruits/breads and other items such as a mini quiche. The eggs could be ordered in many forms which was great. Only complaint on the omelettes were that the stuffing was too full. Again good attentive service. We stayed at another, pricier hotel for a few nights after the V&A, for a conference. The rooms were smaller and not a lot to do in that area. I would go the V&A again if back in Cape Town. By the way, no gym.
