PEOR HOTEL en el que me he quedado EVER! Y eso que dice ser de “lujo”. Comenzaron a taladrar una habitación encima de la nuestra desde antes de las 9de la mañana haciendo que toda nuestra habitación retumbara y cuando marcamos a recepción a quejarnos nos dicen que no son ellos, que de seguro es una construcción afuera del hotel hasta que después de varias llamadas aceptaron que si era aquí! Ahora nos dejaron SIN UNA GOTA DE AGUA SIN PREVIO AVISO, y no saben decirnos hasta que hora! Vamos a perder reservaciones y dinero por esto!😤 WORST HOTEL I've EVER stayed at! And it claims to be "luxury." They started drilling into a room above ours before 9 a.m., making the whole room rumble. When we called reception to complain, they told us it wasn't them, that it was probably construction outside the hotel. After several calls, they admitted it was here! Now they've left us WITHOUT A DROP OF WATER WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE, and they can't tell us until what time! We're going to lose reservations and money because of this! 😤

Stunning property perfectly located at the edge of the old town. It’s a less busy area which I was pleased about. The room was stunning even with an atrium view. Could do either a bit more shade around the pool but I know you and have umbrellas up there due to wind. The included breakfast items were great and you could pay for additional items Everyone was really friendly Loved it

Harry's restaurant and the Pool is the best thing about this hotel. The complementary services are not those of a USD 500 per night hotel. Although they are good for that price, they could personalize the experience better. I made a couple of requests that didn't cost more than USD 10 and they ignored them. I have been in Cartagena in hotels that cost USD 200 to 300 maximum per night and they manage to match what this hotel offers.

This hotel was espectacular! The personal attention, the rooftop pool, the cleanness of the room, the view and the breakfast were our highlights. We got a personal attention from Estefania. She was amazing! Estefania helped us organizing our itinerary during our stay in Cartagena. Ours highlights include hanging around at the rooftop pool and a boat tour to Islas del Rosario. We are definitely coming back to Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa.

I was informed of work in progress few days before my arrival. Tiny room, and they had some larger available but did not want to switch on day one. No hot water and the water service got interrupted during the stay, so finally like magic a larger room was available. It’s a great location and nice looking hotel, they should just be more hospitality oriented. Overall ok experience. Their roof top and pool is the best.

It’s a lovely old colonial building and they’ve done the most they can to try and make it comfortable for modern standards, but it does look tired in places. The rooftop is wonderful with a great large pool a fantastic view of the ocean, bocagrande and sunsets. The location is great, we walked everywhere in the walled city and Getsamani for tourism & dining. The service is very slow everywhere in the hotel (usual in Cartagena to be fair) but the service was less friendly than other hotels we stayed in, especially bar staff. Dining is decent, the location do breakfast and dinner is exquisite with the open roof and breakfast is fantastic (but slow for eggs) but dinner there’s much better value for money and luxury all within a 5-15m walk away. The main 2 bad surprises we had were no hot water, every shower we took was cold. When splashing out on the king room with balcony it was quite surprising. Despite it being hot most days I didn’t want a cold shower every time! Secondly, everything (all prices) excludes service, where a small bag of laundry ended up costing an eye watering $220, despite us asking them not to iron (triple the price). But if you avoid the rip off laundry and are good with cold showers it’s pretty good!
