My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It's a very nice hotel with excellent, well-maintained facilities and restaurants that are very good value for money. That said, the standout feature was the quality of the customer service - every single member of staff couldn't do enough for us and could be 100% relied upon when it came to booking taxis, restaurant tables, etc

Text: Le Calette is a vast hotel complex situated on a hill above the sea, about 25 minutes walk from Cefalu. It consists of two parts: Le Calette N5 (which positions itself as a 5 start property - and merits each ray of these five starts largely!) and Le Calette Bay, a 4*, which is right next to it and shares all the facilities (the restaurant, the swimming pool, and, I assume, the beach - which was inaccessible during our stay in late April, as it is too early in the year and it was not open yet). We've spent 2 nights at Le Calette Bay (the 4* part of the property), and we loved it! We had a junior suite with a private terrace featuring a view of the little port and the bay. Although the room layout is somewhat questionable, meaning, the shower is separated from the toilet and washing basins, the room itself was spacious and clean, combining the traditional Sicilian style with cutting-edge facilities, such as a Smart TV where you could find all necessary information, from the room service menu to the messages from the reception. The pearl of the whole complex is the pool, which offers a fantastic view of the port, sunbeds and umbrellas, and a pool bar, where you can access the menu by scanning a QR code and order your drinks. Breakfast was delicious, various and excellent quality. All the staff of the complex, from receptionists to waiters and to massage lady, are smiling and friendly, everyone speaks English, some of the team members speak more languages, so there is no risk of communication gaps. We would like to extend special thanks to Sonia, the barmaid, for her openness, her sincere smile and her professional attitude

Back in May, reserved to stay at this hotel in late November, as it appeared to be charming. friends who are traveling with us did the same. When our friends reached out to the hotel about a week ago to request a transfer to the airport, they were told that hotel management had unilaterally decided to close early on Nov. 22, and that their reservations were therefore cancelled. A week later, the hotel had not yet contacted us to cancel our reservations, so we contacted the hotel ourselves. The reservations department was rather unhelpful and unapologetic when they informed us that our reservations had been unilaterally cancelled too, which is NOT something one would expect from a luxury hotel. They did not have any explanation as to why our reservations would not be honored nor why they had failed to contact us regarding the cancellation (I honestly think the hotel would have declined to inform us of the cancellation and that we would have showed up in Cefalu the day of our reservations without anyplace to stay!) BUYER BEWARE! Do not trust this hotel!!

As an ex Pat, who now lives in Sicily, I am well-versed on the various resorts on the island. There is a reason why I have returned for my sixth visit to this resort. To me it is by far the finest facility on the island. If I could provide more than a five star rating, I certainly would. The physical location and amenities are unmatched. The resort is incredibly modern and well maintained with exceptional views of the Mediterranean. The room options are varied to your desires. Of greatest importance to me is the personalized service you receive. The registration staff, food staff, maintenance staff, and the management are beyond reproach. If you have the ability to choose this resort, you would be doing yourself and your family, a huge benefit as it would be a vacation that you would remember forever. The recreational amenities are many. Including, but not limited to the pool area, the beach, and the surrounding areas. I have been fortunate to have dined at many Michelin three star restaurants, and the food service and staff at Le Calette easily deserve such a rating. Of all the possible locations I could bring my family from abroad next year I have chosen Le Calette for a family vacation.
