The view from beach and pool was good. Restaurant was also nice and the sommelier was so kind, but little bit take time for dishes.

Lovely hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. Our room was 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Very comfortable and lovely view but the bathroom is not 5 star. Strange arrangement with the shower and toilet. Notwithstanding that the bathroom amenities were a lovely Sicilian brand. Location is 25min walk into town, not for those who struggle with walking but we enjoyed it. The hotel never felt busy and there’s lots of different places to relax and enjoy the weather with great facilities. Staff are super friendly too.

The hotel is extremely overpriced for what it offers. At best, it feels like a solid three-star property that should be priced much lower. The service is lacking — at this rate, you’d expect attentive staff or even butler-level service, but instead, the basics aren’t met. Room service is poorly executed. The rooms don’t have proper tables, so you’re left eating on the bed or the floor. Our room had a spacious patio, yet no table to enjoy a meal outside. When I requested one, the staff brought a tiny table suitable for only a single person. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The yellow jacket problem is so severe that it’s nearly impossible to eat. Instead of relocating breakfast to a more suitable area, the hotel hands out electric wands to swat at the wasps — which only makes the situation worse. While the property itself is pretty, it consistently falls short of expectations given the price point. At the beach and pool, no one assists with towels or sets up chairs, which feels strange for a hotel charging this much. The highlight was the restaurant, which was excellent, but unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost.

No doubt Le Calette is a beautiful property, with stunning views, and we had an amazing 3-night stay there. BUT, I think it falls short of what I’d expect of a truly 5-star resort. The pool area and Reef club are exquisite and very comfortable, and there are many nooks where you can relax and go for a swim. Our hotel room however which was a “deluxe” room was mediocre at best. Fairly small and the decor was bland and uninteresting. The room had a weird layout. The bathroom was tiny, with a very small shower, albeit the pressure was great and always had hot water. The products in the room were meh. The towels and linens were alright but not very high caliber compared to other resorts of this level. Even the toilet paper was really cheap and rough. Basically the room was alright but underwhelming for what we expected and what we were paying. The breakfast buffet had the usual offerings but I also found it just alright. The croissants were amazing and fresh, but I didn’t find a lot of variety or interesting selections. I also wasn’t impressed with the Beach club. Firstly they offer a shuttle there, but the hours back and forth were very very limited so we had to pay 20€ for a taxi each way. There are no towels there, we had to bring them with us, no service there, and the chairs were old and in desperate need of refurbishing. Not what I’d expect compared to other Beach clubs I’ve been to. I do want to praise the Concierge team at Le Calette, especially Derik, who helped us tremendously organizing our transport and an excursion to Palermo. He was super helpful, professional and easy to work with. Overall, we really liked the Calette and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and I would recommend it to friends it’s really lovely, but I would call this hotel more of a 4 star,……

One of the best stays we ever had. From the location & property to the kind, friendly professional service everything was incredible !! Antonia, Eleonora (front desk) Federica (pool side server) and we can never forget AUGUSTINO !! The man does everything and is truly a nice person. All the other staff members that made our stay so special we thank you !! We will definitely be back some day. Such a memorable experience Un abbraccio
