This is quite a pricey place for Laos, but I regarded it as money well spent. Very relaxing environment with two infinity pools, spa room and set in lovely gardens on the banks of the Mekong.

Lovely resort in Pakse which faces the Mekong river so there is a lovely view and breeze!
The staff were amazing from the cleaners to the receptionists. I'm sure this resort will get very popular soon as it is a hidden gem.
I stayed over Christmas and was able to have the receptionists help me book activities during my stay.
I would recommend booking their taxi service from the airport as there are no local taxis available.

Wonderful hotel - great location, lovely staff and nice restaurant. The hotel boat service from the other river bank is a great option for those travelling back from a day at the 4000 Islands. Highly recommended.

5 star service and rooms and view. 4 star breakfast. 5 star evening food. Looking out over the Mekong is wonderful. Make sure you get an upper floor room or the view won’t be as good. Everyone bends over backwards to help you enjoy your time. Make sure you take the free bicycles and visit the rice field path and Champasak

A wonderful stay
The River Resort can be rated as one of the nicest resorts of South East Asia : comfortable and very well kept rooms with large balcony overlooking the Mekong River, amazing sunrise, beautiful gardens, nice food, interesting activities nearby: Vat Phou, Champasak village, Don Daeng Islands, and most of all, most friendly and professional staff. In short, a highly recommended place to visit the southern part of Laos!
