Avoid this hotel though location and view is excellent. Not wheelchair friendly.
Room is not maintained well,.Aircon not good. Messy when checking in. Upgraded to suit however the TV kept flashing at night and bad smell came out of the toilet!

環境：酒店位置很好，海景很美，有我們國家難得見到的西海岸落日。在大堂外的觀景台看海看日落都很舒服很安逸。但是周邊比較荒涼，不是自駕的話不太方便，附近的大角公園等景點也都比較原生態，商業化程度很低，雖然美但確實不便利。
設施：度假酒店的標準配置吧。帶娃可以有很多選項，户外的水樂園、室內的遊戲機等等，還有託管所。不過這裏大部分項目都要額外付費，由於周邊實在啥也沒有，這錢也就衹好給酒店賺了。。
衞生：保持正常水準就不容易，這個酒店巨大，感覺保潔人員壓力挺大的，而且周圍太原生態，蟲很多，保持衞生要付出很大努力。在大堂看海時候觀察到一個員工在擦室外一個枱子，説明平時還是比較關注衞生的。
服務：習慣給別人5星好評的，但這項不得不打低分。不是工作人員不熱情，而是客户意識不足，這是管理問題。由於酒店位置偏僻，所以提供到棋子灣車站的接送站服務，但令人意外的是，在提前一天約定好送站的情況下，出發時間居然沒有司機來送我們了！！！聯繫了禮賓部門後，一位工作人員聯繫了幾次才找到司機，而且一開始都確定不了司機幾點來，最後為了確保不誤車，我們衹能叫了出租車前往車站。高鐵後面連着返程航班，如果錯過飛機，那就太懵了。送站對旅客來説是非常重要的事情，每天覆核登記的訊息做好安排也並不難，衹能理解是客户服務意識問題了，建議酒店優化這個工作流程。做不到還不如不做，沒有這個預期，旅客們也會自己做好安排。
棋子灣很美，也很無聊，適合悠閑放空。

選擇棋子灣開元度假村主要是因為這裏吃喝玩樂一站全含，超級適合親子和酒店躺一族。房間很大，陽台180度直麪大海，一進房間看到碧藍的大海就特別歡喜，無敵角度是觀賞海上日落的最佳角度。坐在陽台上的沙發上吹着海風，喝茶吃水果刷刷網，簡直不要太爽。衞生間夠大分區合理，喜歡大衞間國風的裝飾裝修。
早餐品種豐盛味道相當不錯，咖啡品質很好。自助晚餐最喜歡的是這裏的刺身三文魚和金槍，超級新鮮超級美味，比很多五星級酒店的刺身都要新鮮。
喜歡酒店的室外無邊泳池，還有親子的小童水寨、懶人河這些項目，超級適合小孩子，一玩就是一天。酒店工作人員禮貌熱情，客房服務很貼心，歡
迎水果還包括一瓶紅酒，好驚喜。特別表揚下管家小林，專業貼心，回覆及時，對我的問題和要求第一時間耐心回覆，我們是親子游，娃在小童水寨和懶人河玩的不亦樂乎不想回家，雖然我們的權益裏包含延遲退房，小林更加體貼的給我們延遲到下午3點，讓孩子有更充分的時間在水上樂園玩耍，感謝！

服務：這裏的服務實在太讚了。感謝小林，入住之前就和我們聯繫，溝通各項事宜，還給我們送了一份早餐。幫忙預約各種活動也非常及時。
路上遇到的服務員，態度都非常好。帶小孩挖沙的服務員以及寵物餵養的服務員也很耐心，陪着小朋友玩了好久。這裏的服務給我留下了非常深刻的印象，感覺每一個人都是那麼親切。
設施：酒店有小孩的水上樂園，還有一個淘氣堡不是很大。
早餐也讓我印象深刻，種類非常多，有現煮的海鮮粥，海南斑斕餅還可以現煮麪條粉等等。總之是個驚喜。
酒店離沙灘有點距離，大概要走十幾分鍾全是台階。如果有老年人不好爬樓梯，那就去大角中角小角看海吧。
