Such a fantastic visit! Thank you to everyone at the Dewberry for making me feel so welcome for my first trip to Charleston, especially Austin, Jared, Amanda and Sarah. (There were several others but I didn't get everyone's names.) The suite was beautiful and I loved the charming armoir, modern bathroom design and "suite treat" house made popcorn, view of the park and overall vibe of the hotel. I went to the rooftop Citrus Club with friends at night, such a spectacular view of the entire city. I also took the morning Pilates class with Erica which was excellent. The location was perfect, so easy to walk everywhere and I also borrowed a Volvo SUV as part of the driving program which was great. I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning - it's the perfect combination of southern charm, modern design, interesting history and exceptional service!

We knew as soon as we pulled up to the hotel that we made the right choice. This was our first time visiting Charleston so we were unfamiliar with the hotels. I did a lot of research before committing to the Dewberry. Pulling up to the Dewberry and being greeted by Hunter was absolutely perfect. He (and the whole valet team) was extremely kind, professional and hard working. We were so excited when he parked our M2 right up front. The hotel lobby was even nicer than the photos online! We were so pleased with the design and detail everything had. Jarad at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart. We felt so welcomed with Jared, he made us feel right at home! We were only supposed to stay two nights but after the first night we called the front desk and Jared was able to extend our stay and even help us upgrade our room smoothly. Thomas at the Living Room Bar really was the icing on the cake. He was so professional, kind and knowledgeable. Thomas made us the most delicious drinks. We really enjoyed our time with him. My partner and I will be bookng another stay very soon! We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you to everyone at the Dewberry for making our stay so special!

Stayed for one night. We used valet parking, excellent service. Room was beautiful and well equipped, very quiet. Staff are very friendly, hotel has got an excellent central location. We had breakfast as it was convenient for us as we left early. We had drinks at the rooftop Citrus Club, watching the sunset, excellent experience

The Dewberry offers a gorgeous rooftop event space for those looking for an elevated client experience! We absolutely loved the 360 views of Charleston as well as the incredible sunset we were able to capture during our Elite VIP Happy Hour event in April of 2025.

The rooms are good but breakfast/the living room is not good.a lot of issues with priority and sitting area is not good for breakfast.

The hotel was great. Great staff, service and great location. Rooms were a little small but fine for two people. The hotel was very clean, and you did not notice noise from the street. The bars provided a great atmosphere. Loved the location because it was within walking distance to restaurants and activities.

My parents and I absolutely loved our stay! Everyone was so helpful and kind, especially with my accessibility needs. The rooms were perfect! There was plenty of room in the accessible shower. The service was outstanding and we will certainly be back. The Volvo car program is so great too! We utilized it a lot! The Citrus Club is a must!

The Dewberry was amazing, it had all the amenities needed. All of the staff members were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here for a nice and relaxing couples weekend.
