The Pinch is a new-ish hotel, with a moderately convenient location and moderately good service. The king loft is spacious and the bathroom is good (although the water pressure is not.) However - the big issue is the noise level. The room faced King Street and the noise level all night is seriously unacceptable. The hotel must be aware of this issue, as they leave a sleep machine/white noise machine turned on high in your room .. however, who wants to stay in a room with a noise machine on high??? Do yourself a favor and find a hotel that doesn't require a white noise machine!

Wonderful hotel in a prime location (especially if doing anything at the college). Room was perfect. Turndown service made things feel really cozy. Lots of small touches that are really appreciated (white noise machine, sonos speaker, lighting, plants). Bed was very comfortable. TV was big and great selection of movies/channels/apps.

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at The Pinch in downtown Charleston, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything about this boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with a full kitchen that made us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, blending modern luxury with Charleston’s charm. The location is a foodie’s dream! We spent our days wandering the scenic streets of downtown, indulging in Charleston’s incredible dining scene, sipping cocktails, and shopping in the charming boutiques—all just steps from the hotel. The concierge service was exceptional, going above and beyond to secure reservations at our favorite restaurants and suggesting hidden gems we hadn’t tried yet. Their recommendations elevated our culinary adventure! We also dined at Lowland, the on-property restaurant, and it was a highlight of our trip—absolutely superb food and impeccable service. The Pinch truly made our Charleston experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a luxurious, perfectly located stay with top-notch service, this is the place to be. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and amazing little extras ( drink offer on arrival, easy grab and go breakfast, fully stocked high end kitchen)that made our stay easy and enjoyable. My husband and I travel often and stay in 4-5 star hotels. We were impressed with the staff and the accommodations. My husband said" I think they have spoiled me and other hotels won't compare".

If you are looking for a bit of luxury to stay in a super cool town, The Pinch is the place to be. Exceptional hotel, service team and food (Lowland Tavern)! The hotel is very well positioned to get just about anywhere.

This perfectly located boutique hotel has everything you want in a stay. The staff could not have been more attentive and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, clean and inviting. Don’t miss a meal at one of their two restaurants. Definitely returning!

I almost want to write a bad review so nobody goes so it's always available for us when we come haha. It's an amazing place to stay. Rooms, hotel, and staff are all amazing. I'm the type of person that can always find something wrong with something, but this hotel will challenge you. From check in to check out was an awesome experience. We will for sure be back!
