Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte, Autograph Collection

Stayed in 1125 for 2 nights. Pros : - Amazing location. - Good view. - No outside noise. - Comfortable bed/sheets/pillows. - Plenty of towels in the spacious bathroom. - Polite staff both at the desk and the ones simply walking around. Cons: - The water pressure under the shower is average - Getting on the WiFi was a bit complicated (and not explained correctly, initially, regarding the fee being dropped if a Marriot Bonvoy member) - The usual nightly fee for damages (refundable) was not mentioned. Usually the front desk does a courtesy ask (is that okay, etc.) and gives you the numbers. - I had requested no need for room cleaning but I was still woken up by knocks from the cleaning staff. Maybe I should've posted the "Do Not Disturb" sign.

Anderson at the valet was great. Very fast and very attentive!! Food was good and all staff was nice. That is the end of my review

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and from the moment you pull up to the entrance, you get 5-star service! Will was the MAN and helped us out a ton with our valet!

I had a great experience at this hotel. Neal at valet was awesome and super quick with my car. I visited Mico and the food was great. Had a great experience at the I’d hotel.

My best friend and I have stayed at the Grand Bohemian twice a year for the past three years. We travel from Charlotte and Asheville to enjoy a relaxing getaway and have always loved the hotel’s atmosphere and design. During our most recent stay, however, we experienced an upsetting situation that has unfortunately changed how we feel about the property. We had reached out to security for assistance after receiving credible threats from an individual who said they planned to come to the hotel and harm us. The initial security staff handled the matter calmly and professionally, helping us feel protected and safe. However, when the head of security became involved later in the evening, his aggressive and dismissive reaction made the situation feel even more unsafe. Rather than providing reassurance or support, his tone and demeanor escalated our stress during what was already a frightening incident. Because of this interaction, we no longer feel comfortable staying at this hotel. It’s disappointing, as this was a place we had trusted and enjoyed for years, but we no longer feel it’s a safe or welcoming environment.
