The JW Marriott is located within walking distance to the Charlotte Convention Center (one block), various museums and restaurants. Ubers had no problem finding me when I had to go further (this has been a problem for me in other hotels). The service was outstanding from the moment you get out of the car. The quality of room service food was inconsistent. The Margherita pizza was soggy, but the Burrata salad was exquisite. This is not too much of a problem if you can eat during normal hours because of the various restaurants in the vecinity.

we stayed here for a night to attend a Panthers game at the BOA stadium. The stadium is 2 blocks away so location is great. Its bang in the middle of the action with a wonderful atmosphere for the weekend. The NCSU Wolfpack women's team was also staying there. Valet parking was easy and automated. Check in was a breeze. Elevators are quick despite the crowd. The executive lounge was great (i am a platinum member) - it was great for snacks, appetizers and breakfast. They have a nice gym and pool (we didnt use it) - Wifi was fast. great stay overall.

I came here for the restaurant Dean’s Italian Steakhouse and we used the valet attached, our service was provided by Wesley and he was attentive, safe and prompt, I’d definitely use their valet and visit the restaurant again,

I travel to Charlotte occasionally for business and have previously bounced between a few different downtown hotels. Last week and this week I stayed at the JW. Melissa checked me in last week. She remembered me this week when I checked in, even recalled a conversation we had. Nice personal touch for a busy hotel! Makes the Charlotte hotel choice easier.
