We were looking for a hotel near Eataly. The Gwen is a two minute walk away! This was the first hotel where I’ve seen a vending machine for champagne! The staff at the front desk were excellent. Luigi and Hannah were excellent guides in getting us oriented to all the things available at the hotel. We very much enjoyed the outdoor bar/seating area which had plenty of staff to take care of your needs. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Atmosphere…beautiful, smell…amazing, service…perfection, food…delicious, drinks…strong! Judith, Rin and Cecil were so accommodating and attentive at the restaurant and roof top for Tipsy Tea. I will return over and over again!

We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday and had the BEST time thanks to Kayla, our server! She was so fun, super attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Kayla’s energy made the night even more special and honestly elevated the whole experience. She’s the kind of server that makes you want to come back again and again. If you go, definitely ask for Kayla, you won’t be disappointed!

I recently attended a tipsy tea time event for my friend's birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Juan and Axel were fantastic hosts who made sure we felt well taken care of the entire time. They went above and beyond, even arranging for us to sit outside on the rooftop with a stunning view and a cozy fire pit to keep us warm. The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable event with exceptional service and an unbeatable setting!

The Gwen was such a beautiful elegant enchanting hotel with a very friendly staff. Then the Gwen rooftop was soooo pretty and lovely with comfortable seating and heat warmers with a very scenic Chicago view. Our host Judie and Juan went out of their way to make my 50th birthday 🎉 a welcoming and heart warming event with my friends. Judie provided World class treatment for me and my party on a very cold 🥶 night. Judie accommodated every request and Juan kept the drinks and appetizers coming. This other gentleman (African American) went out of his way to make my night special and took pictures and ensured we were warm in the rooftop. I recommend this glamorous rooftop for your birthday event-I will be returning.
