We truly had an amazing stay.
The location is beautiful, in the middle of a little culture village, not far from the main touristic locations.
The hotel is beautiful, inside and out with rooms in wood. We were floored by the breakfast, it's worth coming just for that, it was delicious.
The staff is very nice and helpful, one of them speaks perfect English which was very convenient for us as we don't speak Chinese.
Cats are everywhere and they are very chill and friendly

We had the most amazing time in Chongqing and really enjoyed our stay at Yilu. Cherry was a fantastic host, very helpful and attentive and we had a very nice time chatting over tea. The room was very clean and we found ourselves looking forward to the noodles and wontons for breakfast each morning. These are among the best meals we’ve had in China. Although on a mountain, a porter was able to take our bags, and there is an elevator to get most of the way up to the hotel. This is truly in the center of the city, with everything close at hand. We look forward to staying here again in the future! Thank you Cherry and everyone at Yilu.

Charming hotel with an amazing staff! The hotel is an historic building, located within a scenic street, which is busy during the day but quiet at night.
The breakfast is individually prepared fresh every morning and tastes great! The room is spacious and clean. Before arrival the hotel contacted us to know when we would arrive, so they can prepare the room and schedule porters to help take our luggage up the long stairs of the scenic street. The hotel staff is very nice and warm, helping with anything they can, making us feeling comfortable. I recommend this special hotel.
亦庐民宿果然不负众望，入住体验非常棒，首先，民宿环境非常干净整洁，每个角落都透露着主人家的用心。其次，管家们热情周到，从入住到离开都倍感温馨，仿佛回到了家一般。民宿虽在景区里，但闹中取静，宛如置身世外桃源，身心得到了极大的放松。如果你不出门，可以和老板一起喝茶，撸猫，抄经，在这里，不仅是一次简单的度假，更是一场心灵的洗涤，下次有机会，一定会再来。

Bed is comfortable & front desk service very attentive & helpful , they place a plate of fruits & some biscuits on 1st night check in on living table. the info of food & restaurants. They also serve you some tongsui once.
Shower room has bathtub but be aware the limited hot water supply, due to the water heater system . Pantry only provide a kettle w 2 cups but no tea spoons & any tea or coffee pack .
You can hear dog barking at mid night somehow & early morning people talking & walking as the room just next to the alley . River view is far away & limited
Overall it is comfortable stay & an experience of Bed & Breakfast . Hence, The rate charged far too high per night as compare to standard Airb&B in market … with a very limited amenities .
