Harbour Hotel & Spa Christchurch

It was very nice to stay, very clean, in the staff all kinds and approachable.fantastic service and very good.

Great location overlooking the harbour with an easy walk to the quayside and beaches. We were worried the "cosy" room would be too small but it was fine. This was a repeated visit and we will go again. Good service, super harbour side restaurant and relaxing spa. Plenty to do nearby - seaside,highcliff castle (photo) and historic town

Visited Christchurch Harbour Hotel with my wife for our 1st year wedding anniversary - We went with the afternoon tea and spa package with two treatments on a Saturday between 1-6pm.... It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Initially booked the package over the phone and the lady that took my call was exceptional helpful and reassuring as well as explaining everything that was included from where to go and where to park etc which was also followed up with an email. The day we arrived, we were met with a friendly and professional welcome, and were personally escorted to the waiting area where we met our therapist's shortly after. My wife and I had two treatments and both therapists were amazing with their treatments provided - back, shoulder and neck massage (30 mins) and a facial (30 mins). I forgot the other ladies name (sorry) but I can confirm that Amy was brilliant and would certainly return. After our treatments, we had our cream tea in the restaurant of which all the staff were extremely attentive and the food was incredible as far as cream tea's go! We then spent several hours in the spa using the sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi. The hotel also cap the maximum number of guests per day as the spa isn't the biggest but perfect for the number of people in there so that it didn't feel crowded. Overall, we had a fantastic time and well worth the money based on the experience, facility and treatments we received... We will certainly be visiting again very soon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Another very happy and comfortable stay at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel. The room was beautiful with amazing views the harbour and a very comfortable bed. This time we also hosted a private luncheon party in celebration of my sister-in-law‘s 70th birthday. Everything was beautifully organised. The food was delicious and the location really very special. One thing we have also noticed about the hotel is that the staff seem happy and proud of the hotel. We saw many familiar faces and the service was excellent and very welcoming.

Before even entering the reception, a lovely man met us and took care of parking my car. Once in reception, we were met by friendly, well customer service trained receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble . I can not fault this hotel and will definitely be making a regular stay here yearly .

A wonderful dining experience in the upper deck we had Sunday lunch which was exceptional. Our waiter Phil could not have been more helpful with his explaining of the menu and his attention to detail. If I had to be picky, I would say the gravy was a little thin and lacked a little favour. It certainly didn’t spoil my meal.
