Thank you for the amazing stay!! Amazing hospitality. We did a wine tasting here and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended for bon vivants. Very clean rooms and a very good breakfast. You really feel at home here.We would love to come back here.

We loved staying at Il Roncal and Elisa was super helpful, friendly, accommodating and hospitable.
The wine was wonderful, the wine tasting was amazing.
We highly recommend staying at Il Roncal.

Very peaceful spot. Lovely breakfast. However, no A/C in our bedroom. It was 28 celsius ALL NIGHT. We were told it was too early in the season for them to turn on the A/C and that we should open our window. It was 27 degrees outside during the day. She also said she couldn’t turn it on because it would make the other rooms in the building too cold. We opened our only window but there was no cross ventilation. So, we said they must turn on the A/C for our final night. The owner said “You Americans like it too cool” !!! We returned from dinner to find, yet again, another 28 degree room with the A/C “on” but only blowing hot air. Thank goodness it was our last, extremely uncomfortable, night. I would never stay there again. For what we paid (close to 200 euros/night), I don’t think it was unreasonable to expect an air conditioned bedroom—as advertised on their web site.

Super majestic setting and facilities with wonderful, friendly staff and owners. The pool is fantastic also! Overall this property and setting combined with the gracious people is a 20 out of 10. Friendly environment with many people from all over Europe with whom to strike up a conversation. The wines at this operational winery resort are magnificent!
Breakfast is always wonderful, and dining options within 15 minute drives offer superb local cuisine, a great small eatery 3 minutes away is a local Artisanal spot with local fare, and inhouse brewery.

The property was very quiet, and Elisa was great. We notified her that we would be arriving late, and she went out of her way to stay in contact and set it up so that when we got there, it was easy to get into our room. She also did a great job at providing a wine tasting for us to decide on what to buy. The only negative was the breakfast (like a lot of European breakfasts) was a little scarce compared to bigger American breakfasts. But, we made do and all the items at breakfast were fresh and very good.

Een fantastische ervaring! De kamer was in orde, het ontbijt was goed. De locatie is erg mooi, gratis fietsen beschikbaar. Uitstapje naar het charmante Cividale di Friuli is heel gemakkelijk. Aan het zwembad een ijskast met hun verschillende wijnen. Angelica is de perfecte gastvrouw, reserveerde een goed restaurant voor ons en bestelde ons een avond pizza's. Als het kan gaan we sowieso nog een keertje terug!
