voco the Tiger Hotel, Columbia, MO

Location: The hotel offers an excellent downtown location, praised for its proximity to key attractions and convenience.

Solid, though not Stellar Classy and elegant hotel with a rich history in a convenient location. Room was clean, spacious & nicely designed. Also, dinner at Glenn’s Cafe (short rib entree) was delicious! However, definitely some lapses and misses when it came to Service esp given the price and reputation. Note: There’s an $18 charge for Self Parking.

We travel extensively and internationally. This stay was in the top one percent! Going to Columbia MO for a wedding. This hotel is perfectly situated near university of Missouri Columbia (Mizzou) The area is safe and vibrant with tons of restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is beautiful and historic and the rooms were large and had all you would need for a stay. Hallways were short and quiet. Elevator was old but there were two and I never waited too long. Water (Carbonated or filtered) and ice machine on two. Also a first floor coffee shops is under construction and there is the Glenn cafe which i didn’t use but it looked great. I needed a couple of collar stays and the nearby Binghams clothing store helped me out in a pinch. Can recommend their shop as well The hotel is awesome. Newly renovated. The staff was great. Thomas at the front desk was a great professional. The valet was a gem as well. I think they are all college students. There are two EV charging spots that the valet can connect to and that made the say perfect. Otherwise there is a parking garage across the street. I would go there next time I’m in town
