Location of the hotel couldnt be better. The staff are kind enough. Breakfast quite good. I was given an accessible room which was a bit unconfortable to use. Water did not drain properly in the bathroom. The room was clean overall.

The room was lovely and had the basics of what we needed. The only downfalls were the window being in the corner and the heating system not working as the room was still cold but everything else was perfect for a night. Right in the city centre so you don’t need buses or taxis for exploring the city.

Nos alojamos en el Maldron Hotel Cork y tuvimos una experiencia muy positiva. Su ubicación es excelente, a pocos minutos del centro, lo que permite explorar la ciudad fácilmente.
Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. El personal fue muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Además, el desayuno buffet es variado y de buena calidad.
Un hotel recomendable por su ubicación, comodidad y buen servicio. Sin duda, repetiríamos.

The service given by check in staff left a lot to be desired. When I arrived to stay at this hotel it became clear that I had made a simple human error booking the wrong night. I asked the staff if they had available rooms which they did. I then asked if they could change the booking and if there was any difference I would pay. This request was denied and was informed if I wanted to stay I would need to book another room. I travel a lot around Ireland with my job and do stay a lot in Cork but I can honestly say this one will NEVER get another booking.

"I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent booking experience at the Maldron Hotel. I made a booking for what I believed was a one-night stay for the evening of September 29th. Upon arrival at the hotel reception, I was informed that the booking was actually for the previous night. I asked if the booking could be honored for that evening, but was told it could not, as I had been marked as a "no-show" for the prior night. While I understand booking policies, I was disappointed that no assistance was offered to reinstate the booking or to rebook for that evening, despite the hotel having available rooms. The response I received essentially amounted to, "we have rooms, do you want one?" I frequently visit Cork for business within the travel industry and typically stay at the Clayton Hotel. I decided to try the Maldron Hotel on this occasion. Unfortunately, this experience, despite being due to my own error, has led me to reconsider using any Maldron Hotel in the future."
