Royal Blues Hotel is incredible. The service was top notch, in particular Shane Walker delivered the highest level of hospitality and service throughout the stay. This hotel is a hidden gem on the spectacular Deerfield Beach. The breakfast is superb as well as the restaurant staff. Highly recommend!

The service was fantastic. Whatever we wanted, the staff was on it to make our experience the best. The breakfasts were very well put together. They have an orange roobios tea that is phenomenal. They even gave me some of the tea bags to take home with me. Everything that is offered here makes you feel special. The staff is the best. Will definitely come again.

Small hotel (12 rooms and suits, all with ocean view), located directly across the street to a public beach, sometimes crowded and noisy. Our room was a king room, decent size, spacious balcony, clean, the bed was very comfortable, free drinks in the room mini-fridge, a nice shower with digital touch buttons, Japanese-like toilet. The staff was nice, trying to be accommodating but NOT all of them were very professional (we felt ignored, especially by the manager, when we asked for an upgrade or delayed check out in a barely booked hotel). The breakfast was included and was good. The beach service included beach chairs, towels, umbrella, water.
HOWEVER, this is an wannabe luxury OVERPRICED and OVERRATED HOTEL, value-for-money ratio doesn't make sense, it's not worth the price!! It is advised as a luxury boutique hotel, and for $700-800/night you expect everything to be amazing... The room looked tired and dated. Some fancy gadgets don't make a first class hotel! And with all the technology advertised in the room, there isn't an USB charger, just old plug-in outlets and a slow wireless charger. The bathroom is tiny, everything is cramped, there can't be 2 persons inside at the same time, and this is a problem because there isn't another mirror anywhere in the room. You can't even see yourself get ready! Even the cheapest hotel has that! Also the amount of light for the bathroom mirror is woefully inadequate! Pool and gym were small and disappointing.

The Royal Blues Hotel is a smaller property, affiliated with the Relais & Chateau hotel chain. It's charming and very "boutique", almost a B&B, given its very dedicated and personal service. The rooms are big, elegant, very modern (lots of electronic devices, e.g. the shower, the toilet), nicely furnitured, also on the (very big) terrace with a view to the beach. They offer a beach service (2 chairs & umbrella are included per room), which I could not use, unfortunately, because of the rainy weather. But the beach is, indeed, just across the road. The Royal Blues Hotel is in a perfect location. The restaurant is very good, too. We were, however, suprised to be the only guests for dinner, although the booking app you had to use for a booking told us that the restaurant was sold out. What I did not like that much is that breakfast begins only at 8 a.m., and it is à la carte - in the restaurant or your room. I'd love to have my breakfast earlier. However, there is a Nespresso maker in the room, thus, I could make coffee at least. For beach lovers and fans of smaller hotels the Royal Blues is clearly an excellent option. Also, because there are parking places right behind the hotel. Deerfield Beach in general is but a small beach town, nothing to write home about, but a nice abode for a few days. Apart from the restaurant of the Royal Blues, which is excellent but expensive, there are not many alternative options in town. Maybe there is greater choice in Boca Raton, the next town, but I did not venture that far for dinner.

Quiet. Away from the noise but across the street from the beach. Each of room is ocean-facing with a balcony. Excellent service. The Chanson does a superb job with the food and guests get a complimentary breakfast that is awesome. Not the place where loud kids or obnoxious college students would stay. There is a reason this is a Relais & Chateaux property -- because it measures up to the standards.
