Four Seasons Hotel Denver

I stayed here for a work event, and overall it was a great experience. I had a lovely corner room, which was spacious (although looking at the room map, all rooms on my floor were about the same, which is great to see). The tub is massive! All staff I interacted with were lovely and helpful. Robes were fluffy. Turndown service was a nice touch. I had room service one evening and while expensive as expected, it was tasty (particularly the sticky toffee pudding!). The only criticism I could offer was during a business event, the coffee station provided was lukewarm at best (coffee and hot water urns). It was truly not even tap water warm despite the little burners below the urns. This setup seemed to work fine the two days prior so I am not sure what the problem was. The food at our events was a bit mixed, sometimes too bland/healthy, and not filling. Some folks didn’t mind this but many were a bit disappointed. We did have a delicious taco bar spread one day which was really tasty. Overall I would stay here again. Lots of restaurants close by as well.

I’ve stayed at four seasons all over the world for many years. I understand the quality and service offering can vary somewhat dramatically by location, but I was incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at the Denver location. Most notably aside from the dated room decor, and small service mishaps (we asked front desk to send a small screw driver and no joke they brought us a mini refrigerator?) was an incident at the pool. I was with my wife and children (7 and 10) at the pool and we ordered lunch and two glasses of wine. The server a told us needed to see ID and refused to serve us until my wife ran back to the room to get her license. Most people don’t carry full wallet or purse when hitting the hotel pool - We are in our 40s with a 10 year old child (do the math on that), I have a gray beard for crying out loud. I even spoke to the manager and was floored to hear she supported the move claiming “Denver is getting very strict”. The lack of discretion and customer service and if I’m being frank - the sheer stupidity of the situation was really appalling. You already ask for my ID at check in, I have grown kids with me, I’m at the pool in a bathing suit without an license - completely insane to have made us run all the way to the room.
