From the moment I walked into the Shinola Hotel, I was impressed by the beautiful design and warm atmosphere. What stood out even more was the outstanding service. Demetrius at the front desk was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make my stay welcoming and smooth. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that reflected the Shinola brand’s unique style. Every part of the hotel felt special, from the lobby to the dining spaces, and captured the spirit of Detroit perfectly. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I will absolutely be returning. Thank you to Demetrius and the entire Shinola team for such a memorable experience.

The Shinola Hotel is where luxury meets soul - thoughtfully designed with locally curated artwork, a vibrant food scene, and incredible design. It embodies the city’s rich history and creative energy. The staff is unbelievably welcoming! Absolutely recommend visiting whether you’re staying, dining, or sipping cocktails, this hotel is a must - Detroit’s revival in style!

Really one of the most beautifully done hotels I have ever seen. Staff was incredible. Room was gorgeous. The decor was next level. Overall 15 out of 10. It’s right in the center of the city and it’s certainly one of the most beautiful I’ve seen.

Cool hotel great location but the restaurant is mediocre - we weren’t told about the breakfast and complimentary coffee so we missed that the fist day staff is accommodating and helpful
