Excellent Service from everyone in the resort. Luxury feel.

We visited the Amilla Resort for our honeymoon in October 2025. All of our expectations were immediately exceeded! Our Katheeb Naape and the whole team at Amilla made us feel so special and cared for. We stayed at the Reef Water Villa with Pool and loved the location for beautiful sunrises and easy access to snorkeling. We could just hop in straight from our terrace to snorkel with fishes, sharks and mantas. As we were on the full board meal plan, we had access to an amazing buffet breakfast, two restaurant choices for lunch and four restaurant choices for dinner. The food and service were exceptional each and every time. I would fully recommend this meal plan, as it gives you so many beautiful choices. We went on multiple complimentary snorkel trips, which were all very professionally guided by Sotti and Yamin. One of our highlights was the Dolphin Discovery Cruise where the Excursion Crew took us out on a boat and gave us the experience of a lifetime when dolphins were chasing our boat and doing flips in the ocean. Another Highlight was a Maledivian cooking class with Chef Naf, who taught us how to make traditional food. It was amazing. The whole island is incredibly beautiful, clean and peaceful. The indoor and outdoor gym are very exciting, there is definitely something for everyone. We spent some time on the tennis court, which was very fun. We also visited the chicken farm on the island, which was right next to a little farm where vegetables, fruits and more are freshly grown. Additionally, Amilla is very wheelchair accessible, which was the main reason we chose this resort as my husband is a wheelchair user. We never had any issues getting from A to B by ourselves, however during rain or when we were simply too tired, Naape picked us up in a buggy wherever and whenever. We were given a beach wheelchair, which made beach and ocean access a breeze and gave us the ability to fully explore the island together. We are so grateful for these unforgettable 11 days and can’t wait to come back here next time we’re in the Maldives. Big recommendation!
