The Vicarage has had a beautiful, thoughtful renovation & provided a wonderful stop on our drive north. From first contact with our direct booking, always a preference of mine, to clear instructions about check in & local amenities, I have felt welcomed & cared for. The room is exceptionally clean, the bed comfortable & the common room downstairs also welcoming. There is even some port, gin or hot chocolate for a nightcap if wanted. I found the local walking trails a great idea, particularly after a long drive. The flowers & gardens that have been planted show Geraldine as a town ready for visitors & The Vicarage with adjacent cafe is the perfect place to stay

Second stay at the Vicarage and again a lovely stay. The house is well appointed and welcoming as are the rooms. Beds extremely comfortable and although its position is near a busy intersection rooms are quiet especially at night. The extra touches of a welcoming bottle of wine and port in the lounge are very nice. When we stayed we were given a voucher for breakfast at Barkers which was a nice touch.

This place is truly outstanding and consistently good. The booking process is effective with prompt responses to any questions asked. The rooms are well maintained with quality ammenities. Servicing is by a great Kiwi crew- we liked the staffing by enthusiastic and very helpful locals; something very hard to find these days! Parking is outstanding! The obvious attraction of the Barkers produce nearby is a further reason you must stay here. We are looking forward to staying again soon. Well done Team Vicarage- you are the best!

This was our second time staying at The Vicarage within a couple of months, and I can't recommend it enough. There are not many good accommodation options in Geraldine, but The Vicarage is totally five star. The house has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are warm, the beds are about the most comfortable I've found in any hotel, and everything has been well thought out and designed for maximum convenience. Obviously it doesn't have any in-house bar or restaurant facilities, but there's plenty of tea and coffee making stuff available, and everything you need to feed yourself. And of course the wonderful Barker's restaurant is right next door for great breakfast and lunch.

My wife and I found The Vicarage to be the single best and most well-appointed BnB we have ever stayed in! Whilst the price was certainly at the high end, we were happy to pay a bit above the norm for such first class accommodation, where it seems everything has been thought of. Congratulations to Michael and Brigitte and the whole team for establishing a real asset for Geraldine.

This property had no personnel on-site. A lock box provided the key. Adequate instructions were inside the room. A fabulous restaurant was behind the hotel. Very clean. Easy parking.
