Gisborough Hall Hotel

Stunning grounds, lovely hotel room, lovely breakfast, not sure what facilities they had to offer but everything else was lovely.

The hotel has a beautiful location. The antique building has been kept in excellent condition. We chose to stay in the Feature Double Room-old Hall. The room was very spacious, with seating area. A coffee machine was also available. Cool drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, individually cooked, with a wide choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent stay. The staff are brilliant, always a smile to greet us. We stayed in Kittiwake Hut which is finished to a high standard. We will return next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The good and the bad....... The good....... Grounds and setting. Spectacular ! it is always wonderful to see the hotel from the road and drive up to its slightly elevated position. Reception and public areas. Upon entering, via the main door, we received a warm welcome from the reception staff. All of the public areas, lounges and toilets were spotless clean and well maintained. Restaurants and bars The bar area was well stocked and comfortable. The main restaurant experience was delightful, as usual. The food, as always, was superb and that is an understatement ! Bedroom. Once again we occupied an Old Hall Feature Room. The room was magnificent. The bedroom had an extremely comfortable bed, TV, and a sofa. Tea and coffee facilities included a coffee machine. Fresh milk was to be found in the mini fridge. The separate lounge area had a TV and seating for four. The settee could unfold into a bed. The bathroom contains a bath, shower cubical [ all well maintained ] robes and slippers. When we go done for dinner we always forget that the room is serviced whilst we are away. Its a delight to return to the room to find the bed turned down, bins emptied, hot chocolate & mugs, water & glasses at each side of the bed and fresh towels - such attention to detail ! Staff. Once again without exception every member of staff we spoke to during our stay was totally customer focused, polite and engaging. A special 'Thank You' to the staff we do not see ! The bad......... Nothing at all. It's a superb hotel.

Fabulous stay in a shepherds hut very comfortable lovely log burner tastefully decorated well equipped with coffee machine and cooker tap very very clean. Went to the main hotel for breakfast and dinner the food was well presented and delicious. The service from all staff very friendly and polite could not fault my stay it was amazing.

Stopped over for the night with a close friend for a catch up and we were so impressed and pleased with the food and service. We arrived midday and treated ourselves to a few glasses of wine on the terrace. The views were tranquil and made the atmosphere feel so relaxing. Staff were ever present making sure we didn’t have empty glasses! On the night we dined in the De Brus Bar and Grill, I had the Serrano ham pizza with hot honey which was stunning, and my friend had the sea bass with a white wine sauce which she loved. Both dishes we would recommend. The staff on the night were friendly and attentive which made the experience unforgettable. Thank you, to all the staff that made our stay relaxing! We can’t wait to return!
