Overall a pleasant stay. Started with a few hiccups due to late and incomplete responses through mail. However, Mr Hiroki the supervisor and the staff in general tried their level best to ensure a comfortable stay for us. The hotel is quite comfortable and serves its purpose as a hotel for those seeking to head to ski fields as the shuttle bus stop is outside the hotel.

A wonderful stay here. Refreshed and modern. We had the family room with two futons which was pretty spacious. The only downside was that the basin was located inside the bathroom, making it inconvenient for others to use it. The location was brilliant as it was only walking distance to Echoland with plenty of dining options. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good range though if some of the dishes could be different each day that would be even better. One thing to note that is that the car park is unsheltered. We stayed for the ski season in January and on one night there was heavy snow, so the next morning we had to spend some time shovelling the snow around our car before we could drive it out. I suspect this is pretty typical in Hakuba though. Overall we were very satisfied and would highly recommend this for a family ski trip.

One of the best experiences I’ve had so far, and the Marriott was a large contribution to that factor. The room has big and spacious, felt very warm and cosy and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Room is clean and big like in the photos, however the toilet space is too tiny and uncomfortable to use. Only 1 person can enter at a time and no space to place amenities. Breakfast space was beautiful, but we stayed for 4 days, the breakfast selections were limited and exactly the same for all 3 days. Suggest the hotel to change the menu atleast every 2 days.

Such a wonderful stay at Hakuba! Service by Mariott stuff was excellent. Shuttle bus arrived on time and the luggages up the bus and to our room. The room had an in-room onsen which was super! There was a quiet camping ground beside where my family spent half a day building snowman and playing. We could call for pizza food delivery on the first day. Convenience store was quite a walk away but manageable if the snow wasn’t so thick.

The stay was alright, the welcome drink hot french onion soup was good. Superb breakfast but pretty remote from anything else unless you’re only here for the ski resorts nearby.
