The Grand Resort

An outstanding place and experience. The aesthetics were impressive and the customer service - in ALL areas - was excellent. With multiple restaurants and bars, there was ample opportunity to get a drink or meal very timely. The pool and Roman bath were clean and large enough to accommodate all of the visitors. Ample seating in several areas of the resort ensured that you always had a place to relax and/or sunbathe. The recreation building provided activities during a brief rain, the gym had impressive equipment, the couples massage was extremely enjoyable (and included extras that our routine, local massage therapist does not include), and the cigar bar had a great ambiance. Overall, just an incredible time. We will definitely be going back soon.

The Grand Resort is fabulous and we always enjoy our stay! The rooms and property are spotless and the service is exceptional.

Had a great time celebrating my daughter’s birthday with a two night stay and a full day of spa treatments. Highly recommend.

We just spent our 21st Anniversary at the Grand Resort with my sister and her husband celebrating an Anniversary as well. We love the restaurants, bars and especially the Spa!

This hotel is amazing! It's my 3rd time staying here. I love it. I always book the Jacuzzi Suite. They treat their guests like royalty. I love the amenities. (Pools, gym, recreation area) I always get a massage here, too (not included for free, but well-worth it). Meals are great, too. And if you want something just like juice or milk or some fruit, they never care and waive the cost. The whole place is top-notch. It's no wonder it's rated number one Resort in Ohio!

Everything started around 11pm on the 19th. My friends were placed next to the party on the deck and complained about the noise. After nothing was done to resolve the issues they eventually had to leave the property and stay at another hotel in the middle of the night. I can only pray you refunded them their two night stay. Then around 330 AM we were startled awake by our neighbors banging on their own door. When I went outside to ask them to quiet down I got met with aggression by another guest. They said “I’m getting married tomorrow I need to find out if he is F$CKING alive” when I went back into the room the banging continued. I went to the front desk and security got involved. When they were finished talking to the obnoxious guest I was told “if they bother you again let us know” I then had to go back to the front desk because my wife and I heard banging on our joining door. And continuous screaming of the phrasing F&CKING F@GOT at least 12 times. When I came back with security the other guest said to me “It is being F$CKING being handled so go back to your F$CKING room you F$CKING B$TCH” I then went to the desk to ask the front desk to call the police which they did. There was still commotion in the hallway and since we had to wake up for OUR wedding day AT THE GRAND RESORT THAT WE PAID $45,000 for!!!!!!!! we go 0 sleep. Moving past these events we spent most of our wedding day exhausted. Powering through we had an amazing time. When we went back to the bars for one last drink we learned that not only were the other bride and groom not cut off after the atrocious events of the evening before but they were throwing another raging party out by the pool. The man verbally assaulted me ( the groom) and Again disturbing our guests AND BEING WITHIN TOUCHING distance of my wife and I, despite them THREATENING US THE NIGHT BEFORE. There’s no reason for them to have been there. You did not do your job, in any way. While I understand a business has to make money the best actions of management did not meet the lofty expectations we have for the grand resort (expectation that you set as ‘the number one resort in Ohio’) at the absolute bare minimum management could have moved the pool deck party to the inside bars. Especially since as a group of the wedding spent 10’s of thousands of dollars at the hotel and over $45,000 at your resort for our wedding at the Pavillon. Controlling your guests is your responsibility and they failed my bride and all of our wedding guests. Both nights in addition to the poolside commotion, our sleep being totally ruined, PEOPLE were walking up and down the hallways with music blaring on speakers, disrupting all of our guests including MY MOTHER and FATHER. This hotel experience was atrocious and totally preventable, but I suppose you do not care about your guests. Thank god Tracey Roscoe was a goddess and a perfect example of a manager of a ‘resort’ style establishment. I will not take this sitting down. Your team
