Beloved Playa Mujeres - Couples Only All Inclusive

Romantic and Relaxing Atmosphere: The hotel is highly recommended for couples seeking a tranquil getaway, particularly for honeymoons and anniversaries. The adults-only policy and emphasis on romantic ambiance contributed to the peaceful environment.

We had a close to perfection stay at Beloved Playa Mujeres from August 30 until September 6. From the welcome drink to the check out and private transportation, the main focus of the staff is to put the client at the center of everything. Room: We were at building Bella with private pool. Very quiet location and close enough to the beach. Beach: The beach was well maintained and we enjoyed our early morning walks with the sunrise. No seaweed thanks to the presence of Isla Mujeres. Thanks to Fabiola, Denisse and Antonio for the excellent service. Restaurants : All the 4 restaurants offered excellent food. We would rank them as Le Bisou No. 1, Lupita Steakhouse No. 2, El Mar No. 3 and La Isla Trattoria No. 4. The filet mignon is a sure bet. Thanks to Joceline for the welcoming smile every morning at Le Bisou. Special thanks to our server Luis for the excellent service received every morning and to remember all the small details. Spa: we had hydrotherapy and massage at the spa. Very nice spa and excellent service received. We keep the best for last : this stay would not have been the same without those persons ; special thanks to the general manager Andrea Ruiz, she made our stay quite memorable. Special mention to Anna her assistant and also Alexander who was always present to assist us.

First and foremost, we were absolutely blown away by the level of service and the quality of food at all restaurants, but especially at El Mar. We have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and the food, drinks, and staff/service at Beloved was far and away the best we have ever experienced. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling! Specifically we wanted to thank Axcel from the entertainment team who not only provided us with lots of fun and laughs, but was able to seamlessly diffuse a situation with a difficult guest. Pasquale in the lobby bar really impressed us with his knowledge and creativity! The server Fernando was so excellent and hardworking! Jafet at El Mar went out of this way multiple times to make sure we had a great meal! Only downside was that when we were the menus were changing and not for the better! Because of this excellent service we still had a great week but we feel some follow up is needed regarding a very frustrating situation with our room. When we first entered, it had a very musty/damp smell. The AC was not working. We let someone know the first day and they said it would be looked into. After that, the AC was better during the day (though it never reached the temperature it was set at). At night, the air conditioning would not be working properly at all and our room was VERY warm. We mentioned this to the front desk every day and each time were told it would be resolved .On the third day, we mentioned it again and again were told it would be checked. We received no other communication but when we returned to our room around 10 am there were several maintenance workers inside, many tools, a ladder, and a ceiling panel had been removed. Our belongings had been moved and there was dust and debris around. We had no idea what was happening but gave them space and time to do whatever work was happening. This went on for hours and hours and we did not have access to our room or our swim out area for most of the day which was really frustrating. At this point we insisted on some answers (we hadn't been contacted or explained anything) and were told the whole AC system was being replaced. We were offered a courtesy room (though not a swim out) but explained that we couldn't get to our bathing suits or any of our things so that didn't really help us unfortunately. After this, the AC did improve slightly but still did not work at night. We mentioned this over and over and on our second to last day the manager Alexander got involved and ensured it would be rectified. Unfortunately, it never did. We lost a lot of sleep due to the extremely uncomfortable conditions at night (not to mention the entire day of lost access to a room we paid a lot of money for). Additionally, when we tried to use our bathtub it was spewing brown water which left black stains and dirt in the bottom. it was fixed but we weren't able to use it originally and the time they were working on it was another instance of us not being able to util
