The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur

We had a delightful stay. The grounds are beautiful, our room was comfortable, the bathroom was bright and airy, and the outdoor space we had out back was very private. Service was beyond what anyone could ask for. As a welcome gift, our child had his own platter of treats as well as a decorative pillow with his name embroidered on it. Food at the restaurant was excellent, and the chef himself came out to greet us, introduce us to a couple of dishes he had prepared, and sought our feedback on which variations we liked best. When we had to head out very early one morning to go on a leopard safari, the staff put together a box of breakfast food to bring with us in the car. At a certain point, it did feel a bit like too much service because everyone was paying such close attention to us, but we understood. One of the charms of this place is the abundance of birds that occupy the place. You'll see birds *everywhere,* from peacocks to thousands of parakeets. They get really loud at dusk, as they huddle together on tree branches for the night, then they all suddenly go quiet. Now, peacocks will get *loud* early in the morning. You may want to bring earplugs if you don't want to receive nature's morning calls at 5 am. Also, watch out for bugs flying into your room when you open your door at night. Overall, we had a delightful time and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Having visited their properties in Chandigarh Oberoi Sukh Vilas and in Ranthambore Vanya Vilas (2023) we have been enthralled and decided to have a large Family dinner at Oberoi Jaipur also called Raj Vilas. The property turns into a mesmerizing historic icon in the evening night lights, cultural music and dance and a superb attending staff who balance giving space-privacy and keen sharp eye to attending. In the heart of the property is a 300 year old temple of lord Shiva with its surrounding pond full of lotus blooms. Take this opportunity to thank Pratibha Seth , Vishal Virmani and Vivek Bhatt for their immense help in making our private dinner such an outstanding experience.

A truly magical stay at The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur! The serene, luxurious setting made every moment unforgettable — from lush green lawns where peacocks roam freely to beautifully appointed rooms that exude elegance. The calm atmosphere felt like an escape from the world. The food was exceptional, each meal a masterpiece. Special thanks to Chef Rajiv Sinha, whose warmth, attention, and culinary brilliance elevated the experience. Every bite reflected his passion. Highly recommend this oasis for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and top-tier hospitality in Jaipur!

Having decided to introduce my young children to the hustle and bustle of New Delhi Railway Station in the early hours of the morning before taking the train to Jaipur, we were very much looking forward to reaching the The Oberoi Rajvilas. Having had the good fortune of experiencing several Oberoi properties — in Mumbai, Marrakech, Delhi, and now Jaipur — I can safely say that the brand continues to deliver a level of consistency in service matched by very few in the world of luxury hospitality. Their ethos of polished, refined and attentive service trickles down from the GM to the housekeeping staff. On multiple occasions this personalized hospitality showed: from the thoughtful gifts left during the turndown service for my children (pillows with their named knitted) to the staff remembering our meal preferences from day to day. One particularly touching gesture came when my daughter fell ill with a stomach upset: the team wrote “Get Well Soon” in flowers outside our villa door. The hotel’s setting is that of a tranquil resort, with expansive, beautifully maintained grounds.. The “hard product” remains good and well kept. A required upgrade of the rooms are underway starting with the tented rooms. The Oberoi continues to embody grace, warmth, and quiet perfection. I wish them only the very best.
