The hotel is located in a fantastic place with a stunning view of Karlovi Vary. - this is definitely the best quality of this hotel. Outdoor parking available on the territory of the hotel. Gym, tennis courts, nice park - all are well maintained and provide great level of comfort. The rooms and overall condition of the hotel can be characterized by the word “tired”. Once luxurious and modern (Soviet era style) it is now outdated and not so refreshing. I had to wait about 40 min to check in because there was just one receptionist and a lot of people waiting to get their rooms. The next day I asked for a late check out. Although the staff confirmed that there was no subsequent reservation for the room the hotel policy was still to charge over EUR 100 for additional 2 hours. I would recommend the hotel for the scenery and proximity to the center of life in Karlovi Vary. However, it is 100% not a 5-star experience that the hotel claims to provide.

Dear readers, Unfortunately, like a lot of recent reviews here, I cannot justify this to be a 5 star hotel in any means. Admittedly the architecture and views over Karlovy Vary are stunning but that is all I can say in favour of it. None of the staff we met here in 5 days ever smiled or said hello to their guests and we felt almost a burden asking any questions. Even the reception staff could not speak basic English. The food was buffet, but in a canteen style, with paper serviettes and we have eaten better quality food in the Premier Inn to be fair. The massage rooms resembled that of an NHS treatment bay. Given this, the hotel is very overpriced, and on reflection, I would book somewhere else readers. Kind regards

First day here. Impressed by the room and check in . Food . Dinner was nice and just had breakfast. Nothing to complain about. Good taste and presentation spot on . Staff is friendly and professional.

Mother daughter trip
The hotel was nice and provided an old world charm. The spa was clean and had many service options. The food was okay, except the Restaurant Paris which was exzellent. The service throughout was a bit slow and not warm.
