We celebrated our honeymoon at this beautiful place. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The room wasn’t quite ready, but the staff handled the situation quickly and professionally. The beach was magically beautiful, even though there were far too many vendors. The hotel really did their best to keep the beach area clear of sellers, which we appreciated. The food was excellent with plenty of variety. It felt festive to have the dinners set up by the pool and on the beach. We received a private dinner for two on the beach, which was beautifully arranged and very romantic. The room was lovely and cleaned every day. Fresh towels and a newly made bed daily. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We appreciated the visible security throughout the area, making sure everything was safe and well-organized. The smell from low tide was minimal near the hotel, which was a big plus.

My family and I went recently and had a lovely time. We felt completely looked after by all the staff. The food was incredible with such a range for each meal time across the two weeks. There were lots of activities on each day including water aerobics, volleyball and darts, all very enjoyable. I would definitely come again and highly recommend to others!

This has been a very memorable stay! The staff is amazing and extremely attentive. Food surpasses all expectations. The hotel is directly on a most amazing white sandy beach. Fabulous stay in paradise we would return anytime!

I had a fantastic two-day stay at Sandies Baobab Beach Zanzibar from June 21st to 23rd, 2025. This hotel is truly impressive! The accommodation was incredibly clean, and I really enjoyed the good food they offered. Overall, it's a very good hotel with a reasonable price. Its location is particularly amazing, right next to Nungwi Beach, which made for some beautiful views and easy beach access. I'd highly recommend Sandies Baobab Beach Zanzibar to anyone planning a trip to the island!

Sometimes when things don't go according to plan, it works out amazingly in the end.. we originally booked Diamonds Mapenzi (sister Hotel) of Sandies which were stayed at last year, but due to their renovations not completed in time, we were changed to Sandies. We had an amazing time. We celebrated my son's birthday and he was treated to a special dinner and birthday cake and room make up. We enjoyed the amazing food.. special thanks to Marwa and special surprise to see Chef Victor from Diamonds Mapenzi who treated us like royalty with our vegetarian dietary requirements. We really enjoyed the Aqua at the pool and other sport activities. The cocktail🍸 🍹 were great! The beach was beautiful, water warm and great!

We stayed at Sandies Baobab for ten days. Very comfortable, well cleaned rooms with good and large beds. Restaurant : very various and many choises and specially the friendly service by Odria, Christina, Eleen, Anna, Aneth, Sara, Dickson, Omar, Anzigar,, manager Marwa,...and so many others. At the bar, same story... very friendly and helpfull bartenders (Hello Benjamin!) and animators. We can recommend this hotel to young and old, couples and families,...
