Beautiful location. Excellent staff. Fabulous breakfasts and restaurant. Easy access to the town less than 10 minutes walk. We had a fairly large room (by European standards) with a great view. Easy parking with no issues, of course this being off season it was rather quiet.

We have stayed in the Trident a number of times and it is always lovely and very relaxing. It is in a beautiful location overlooking Kinsale harbour. I would recommend a harbour view room to make the most of the view. The staff are friendly, professional and flexible. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and buffet and was very happy to have a vegan/vegetarian option which was delicious. The room was spotless and obviously the cleaning staff do a great job.

Check very cold welcome no info given just told our room ready. Room was lovely but cold until later in the evening. Very cold welcome by staff bar were told we did not have to book a table then when we did venture to eat it seemed hassle to get a table even though it was not busy several tables were free. Ordered drinks 3 times by 3 different staff eventually got them after our meal. Menu very poor and as for breakfast in morning it was beautiful and food beautiful but supervisor went to take my plate even though I was not finished I was so shocked. She also barged thru us in the bar with a chair without looking or excusing herself on the Sunday while we were leavingjust before lunch started also shocked at this rudeness. Checkout was also cold and person hardly looked at me and we had way overpaid for this weekend anything but good value. Won't be returning ever

We have stayed in the Trident a number of times, and the fantastic location and warm welcoming staff are what keeps bring us back! We recently stayed for a family celebration and the team were so accommodating (special thanks to Norma and Trish for going above and beyond the give us a wonderful experience). Truly a wonderful spot and we can't wait to come back!

Beautiful hotel and attentive staff. We had a large gorgeous room with very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Our upper floor room had a nice view of the harbor and huge windows to look out. The hotel is an easy walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious when many options as well as made to order options. We also had a nice lunch on the patio on site. Great stay which I would highly recommend!

Most definitely the best two days of our Ireland. Kinsale is lovely and so is the hotel. Even the weather cooperated!, which was great as it's a brisk 10 minute walk into Kinsale centre.
