Exceptional hotel on exceptional island. Great food and service. We could cycle everywhere, the pool is amazing and the location could not be better. I would definitely stay again and for longer if it were a tiny bit more affordable.

I’m sharing this review based on our honeymoon in Seychelles (August 2025), where we spent three weeks exploring Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue. Everything below reflects what I wish I had known before booking. Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie Advice • Avoid Anse Source D’Argent—it’s incredibly crowded, making it hard to appreciate its beauty with so many tourists around. • Hire a bike to explore both the west and east coasts of the island. • Six nights was too long for us; four nights would have been plenty, as you can see most of the island in that time. Pros • Excellent central location, within walking distance of town, shops, bars, and restaurants. • Situated on a beautiful beach with amazing snorkelling—we spotted two stingrays, a manta ray, and plenty of colourful fish. • Restaurant views are breathtaking—you can enjoy breakfast while watching fish in the crystal-clear sea. • Food quality is outstanding, with plenty of variety for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Themed dinners each night keep it exciting, and everything is fresh. • Creole night entertainment is fantastic, with live music followed by traditional Creole dancing. • Honeymoon perks are thoughtful: we enjoyed 10% off a 90-minute massage and a complimentary beach buffet dinner in the private gazebo. • Bike hire available directly from the hotel (~€15 per day). • Stunning infinity pool with attentive waiter service for both poolside and beach loungers. Cons • As part of our honeymoon package, we were promised a complimentary bottle of fizz and local delicacies. Despite asking four times and being reassured by different staff members, these never arrived during our six-night stay. • A few of the pool towels we received smelled unpleasant, as though they had been folded away damp.

We spent a month in this beautiful place. We can only speak with the greatest appreciation about the location, the excellent staff, and the services that meet the highest demands. We enjoyed every minute we spent there to the fullest. Among the staff, we must highlight the security manager Mr. Amin, who was our constant support and an excellent host with his attentiveness and reliability. The restaurant manager provided us with unforgettable culinary delights day after day. We would like to thank the hotel manager, Mr. Erik, for his hospitable and attentive care. Mr. Sohag took care of the impeccable, comfortable, and spotless cleanliness of the villa, he is a great housekeeper. We thank you for everything and look forward to seeing you again. Amazing treatment from their staff. Everybody introduced themselves and made us feel very welcomed. The swimming pool is amazing and the views unmatched! The piña colada is so good! Thank you, we will come again!

The location is perfect. The staff was welcoming. We were picked up at the jetty. The room is spacious. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a nice spread. Bike hire is available. Stunning pool with attentive service.
