Stunning hotel in a beautiful setting. Breakfast and dinner on the open air balcony overlooking the secluded bay of the Mediterranean felt like being on the set of a glamorous film. The beachside pools, sun loungers, bar and changing facilities were also fantastic. One slight improvement I would suggest would be for sea food to be served at the bar. But that is a minor point. Breakfast was incredible, catering to all tastes with style.

It was our 2nd stay at Hotel Santa Marta. We love it here. We had a junior suite with amazing views. Breakfast is excellent. We rented a car so we could go to Lloret de Mar, Tossa, Blane’s, Roses, Cadaqués, and a few others. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Can’t wait to come back again. We also enjoyed the beach and the swimming pool.:)

We stayed at the hotel in June for my mums 60th birthday. The location of the hotel was beautiful and the beach/pool area was lovely. However, the service at the hotel needs a lot of work. Our breakfast experience was a disaster. We had a party of 7 and we were told we couldn’t sit together so we spilt into a 4 and a 3 despite there being plenty of room for us to fit around the table of 6. 2 of the 4 people on the first table got up to leave and the next minute a rude member of staff was shouting for the remaining people to move to another table. We didn’t even have chance to say we could join them to fill the table up, they were booted off onto what wasn’t even a proper table in the corner. It is completely unacceptable to move people mid-breakfast to free up table for other guests! A hotel of this standard should manage their sitting times more effectively, the lady who moved my family was so rude, she was just in a rush to get through the service. We didn’t have a a great evening dinner experience either which was my mums 60th meal. We were given the wrong meal at dinner, we don’t eat meat so ordered the dry rice with prawns. We were given pork rice with prawns which I believe was another dish on the menu. It took over 45 minutes to resolve the issue with no apology and lack of communication. We got up from the table twice to find out what was going on. We appreciate new dishes take a while to cook but there was no sense of urgency at all. We had replacement dishes ordered as well as the rice dish which I still believe had meat in, by that point we were passed arguing again especially as the rice was removed from the bill.

Beautiful hotel in an idyllic setting. Breath taking views. Lovely staff. Very accommodating. A special word of thanks to the lovely Isabel in the bar who was so nice to us.
