酒店就在倫敦德里的城牆旁邊，酒店分成二部分，不帶廚房的普通客房，還有公寓式客房；我們住的公寓客房，帶有廚房可以煮東西吃，天天在外面吃西餐實在是很難受，住公寓酒店可以做一些吃的可口的飯菜；這個廚房基本的東西都有，但沒有洗碗機和洗衣機；碗比較小，但也能用；晚上屋裡的暖氣挺熱的，洗了衣服可以幹，這挺方便的；就是洗手間太小了，尤其是刷牙洗臉的盆小的完全不能用，這個確實有點彆扭。

We were given a Handicapped room and were not allowed to change. The bathroom is very poorly designed. We are two fit individuals with no physical restrictions. The front desk was annoyed that we were not satisfied with our room.

What a wonderful hotel! After driving from Belfast up to Derry, the reception I received when I walked in the door was outstanding. Niamh was friendly, informative, and went out of her way to give me great idea, ideas and directions on where to go during my visit. My room was spotless and the pillows were perfect. There was no air-conditioning and for certain women after a certain age, that could be a bad thing. Thank God they had a fan! They also have a wonderful laundry service which brought back my clothes, spotless and folded, and it was so easy to do. Breakfast was amazing and delicious and hot both mornings. The staff in the dining room were so nice and kind, and when I was talking to them about my interest in history, they took me to part in the restaurant and showed me the well that has been there, which was amazing to see. Make sure you ask about it when you go. When I checked out, it was very easy and simple, and Patrick brought me my car very quickly. What an absolute joy to stay at this hotel. I can’t wait to come back again!

Bishop’s Gate Hotel is a relatively small but great hotel. Located in a convenient part of Derry, the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Amenities were available and of good quality. The common areas are very nice and the bar and restaurant convenient and good. The breakfast was plentiful with buffet selections as well as hot choices available. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t think of anything more that we would want in a hotel stay.

Bishop’s Gate is a top notch hotel in a perfect location to see the city. The staff is amazing, they were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the lobby is cozy. I had the misfortune of leaving my leather jacket at another hotel, the staff at Bishop’s Gate immediately jumped on the phone and arranged for me to receive it when I returned from my travels. Wonderful experience all around!

My wife and I stayed on vacation - and we would go back today if we could. There’s a reason Rick Steve’s guidebook lists Bishop’s Gate as Derry’s best hotel. Our suite was spacious, warm on chilly days, comfortable, and relaxing. The bar & restaurant were impeccable, serving good food along with good service. Stephanie manned the front desk every evening we were there. She called cabs, arranged for a historical tour, and made fantastic recommendations on request - she was simply the best! The entire staff provided superior service during the length of our stay. This is a great building, but the culture of service is what we’ll remember. Wow. You get the feeling that going the “extra mile” isn’t extra for these folks - they are well trained, enjoyable to talk to, and sincerely want to help. Our thanks to Stephanie and the entire Bishop’s Gate staff. They set a high bar and made us want to stay longer.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel has a very calm, relaxing vibe. The receptionist was really nice and I was checked in very quickly. My room was amazing. I had a comfortable king sized bed, smart tv, tea and coffee facilities. Everything you could want was there. The bathroom was spotless with a fantastic rainfall shower. I had room service because I had been walking for two days and could not have moved another step after I got to the hotel. The hake and pasta was fantastic but the lemon meringue cheesecake was superb. Two of my favourite food groups. At breakfast I went for the Eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The server was very friendly as well. Honestly if you're coming to Derry, I would recommend this hotel. I was very impressed.

This is a really beautiful hotel in a great location. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and had a lovely warm atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and we even ate in the hotel restuarant for dinner which we normally never do but it was absolutely delicious. All the staff were really warm and friendly. Just an overall great stay.
