Dining Experience: The breakfast is highly commended for its variety and quality, and the restaurants are noted for their exceptional food, particularly the dining at Selini and Gaia. The overall culinary offerings are considered a highlight of the stay.

We spent 12 nights here in a classic retreat and can honestly say this was by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. The resort is so peaceful and we never struggled to find a daybed even when returning in the middle of the day. Nowhere in this place feels at all crowded. The included activities are exceptional - but a special mention has to go out to Anna and her variety of yoga classes. We tried the aerial yoga, power yoga, Hatha yoga and the aerial sound bath. Anna is a patient, kind, inclusive and knowledgable yoga instructor and I learned so much from her. She also makes yoga so much fun and empowers people to be brave and try new things. I have never enjoyed yoga before because I find it so difficult but having a teacher like Anna makes all the difference. The gym decks are absolutely stunning with plenty of equipment. No need to worry about a tiny gym at this hotel! We took out some paddleboards to explore the stunning Lourdas bay and managed to spot a turtle by the rocks. The beach is beautiful and I enjoyed swimming in the clear water. There are plenty of tavernas within walking distance and a small but well stocked supermarket. We ate at Gaia restaurant for dinner twice- the food was absolutely sensational and Kosta our waiter warm and friendly. Breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. We worked our way through most things on the menu and loved the variety of healthy options. The Freddo cappuccino was PERFECTION as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our breakfast host Alexis gave such a warm welcome each morning and made us feel like friends. Kefalonia is a beautiful island so we had a hire car. We enjoyed a (very tough!) circular hike to the summit of mount Ainos. The views back down to lourdata were simply amazing. We visited Argostoli to see the loggerhead turtles at the harbour- a real highlight of our trip. I’m scared to leave such a positive review because I don’t want other people to discover this magical place. This hotel is a small, intimate piece of paradise. Thank you F Zeen we will see you again

What a find, this is possibly the most relaxing and calming hotel I have stayed in, the whole ethos is wellbeing and rejuvenation. Subtle colours, just the right shade of beige, complimented by the beautiful flowers and trees, everywhere, walking through the resort is like walking in the forest, beautiful. The classes have been well thought out with something for everyone, calming yin yoga, through to Hyrox full on workout , I tried them all, would definitely recommend all of the yoga sessions Anna is amazing! The power Pilates & Hyrox were good workouts. The walk to the monastery is definitely worth it, stunning views across the bay. The gyms are fitted with the state of the art equipment everything you need to keep your fitness levels up. The restaurants were superb the food quality and service were excellent, Gaia was our favourite with a perfect selection for breakfast, after a couple of classes, from exquisite Greek yogurt to full on Greek breakfast , and everything in between! The evening grill was excellent the quality of food again excellent, a small menu which means quality over quantity, I had octopus & sea bass my husband tried the steak, amazing, all cooked cooked fresh on the open grill, make sure you visit it at least once. We went to the Selinia bar for pre dinner drinks, a good cocktail selection, the NYX was very refreshing, the views are beautiful across the bay, All of the staff are friendly yet unobtrusive, always on hand to help if needed. Our room was amazing a superior raw retreat with pool, high up in the resort with amazing views of the bay, with everything you need to make your stay memorable, clean, fresh and minimalist, again very calm. I would definitely recommend staying here don’t worry if you’re a couple and only one of you likes exercising, the pools and tranquil nature means the other half can relax and enjoy the resort while you are enjoying the classes etc. we felt relaxed yet energised when we left, we will come back , something for everyone.
