Visiting cousin who lives locally and although she had never been before she had heard good things recently. Went for lunch on a Wednesday lunchtime and it was surprisingly busy. Service good although a little slow but food was fabulous. Generous portions. Will definitely return

We called in for some much needed nourishment on the way home from a days motorcycle touring, we were welcomed warmly given a table and served up delicious food, it took a little while which was good because it was clearly all freshly cooked👍 my friend had a steak which he said was good and he’s fussy 😱 I had pork loin with vegetables again delicious. The owners only took over ownership in march and are doing a fabulous job. Please either stay over or call for a drink and food I am sure you won’t be disappointed, we need to support these ambitious young men who are keeping one of our traditional pubs/b&b open.👍

Booked a table in advance as the Sunday Roast is extremely popular. Quality and value for money. Lovely friendly atmosphere and dogs are welcome. Will be back to try the Breakfast and other meals through the week. 110% 10🌟

A great place to stay
The location and layout of the hotel was excellent. We only had a cooked breakfast here and that was excellent and cooked well.

Nice staff and great food.
No shower in the room, no iron in the room.
Located very close to a main road with single glazed windows. Very loud
Seemed to be understaffed, a lot of waiting
Very basic table and chairs in the restaurant area, but they do have a nice snug

Great stay at The Salwey Arms
We had a fantastic stay at Salwey Arms!
Staff are amazing, went above and beyond to meet our needs to ensure our short break went to plan, even offering to transport us into Ludlow as we were struggling to secure a taxi. Which in the end they managed to sort for us, both there and back enabling us to attend pre-booked live concert at Ludlow Castle.
We were able to check-in earlier than planned, our room was cosy, spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding, which enabled a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh to order and the menu provided a lovely range of options.

Great stay
The staff and owners were extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent and the stay included an excellent breakfast with as much coffee (or if you prefer, tea) as needed.
