The location is very central for exploring different areas of the Sunshine Coast. We stayed in a 2Bdrm Villa and found it to be very spacious and well equipped. We had a beautiful view of the harbor which was lovely to take in at sunset and sunrise. Because the property is away from the highway, it is very quiet and peaceful. The onsite restaurant also offered beautiful views and a delicious menu.

Enjoyed the area and resort which is well run and maintained. Visited Egmont and the rapids, Francis Point Provincial Park and did the Slo Cat Cruise. Enjoyed the pool and large hot tub with views (did not use the Serenity Garden). Be aware that not all suites have a water view; some mostly face a more forested area over a small bay.

Beautiful area, beautiful resort. I would highly recommend. If you're cooking, take spices and condiments as there is nothing in the room other than small packs of salt and pepper. We were there for our annual girls trip and it didn't disappoint.

We had our daughters wedding at the Painted Boat - Maderia Park. We booked a large block of rooms at the resort so that we could could all stay together for the entire weekend. Several of our guests were from out of the country and they were amazed both by the resort and the natural beauty of the location. The overall experience was excellent. Great service from the front desk (and especially Sherri), great facilities, amazing restaurant and conference room (a big thank you to Yester). And very accommodating to our requests. Highly recommended!

As the title suggests, wonderful but there are a couple of issues. First the good. The rooms are just beautiful, wonderfully equipped and views to die for. This is our second stay and we’ll be back. A couple of issues have been mentioned in previous reviews. The noise from upstairs..OMG you’d swear they were wearing work boots and stomping around. Not the hotels fault but have some curtesy people Someone mentioned #18 got heavy smoke when the kitchen starts up. Can confirm that but it only lasted about 10 mins. Checkin. They need more cleaning staff. Not having rooms ready at 4 is inexcusable for the rates they charge. A 92 year old had to wait around long past 5. We got our room around 4:30. We’ll definitely return, it’s a stunning property
